Hey ATS told me that the VP can't do anything. I don't think VP's resign easily, otherwise Pence would have done it the day after Trump riled up his supporters enough to want to hang him.
Trump came in too confident and underestimated Harris and the moderators.
Hell, to do an interview she needed Walz

The..."I'm speaking now...I'm speaking now!"...quote by Trump was awesome. I fully expected Harris to say that, and Trump stole her thunder with it. Very clever move on Trump's part. I just wish he would have followed it with a slam dunk, and I don't think he did. It would have been a perfect segue to..."Tell us, what's you're plan?...and then a mic drop.
Yes Trump underestimated the whole situation . And there will not be another debate , no way they risk putting Harris on stage again.

Sounds like Trump is signaling he doesnât want to do another one.

She was not debating, she was performing a Scripted stage performance .

Top 5 lies that the ABC News moderators refused to fact-check or falsely fact-checked during the debate:
1. Mandatory Firearm Buybacks:
Kamala Harris told Trump to "stop lying" about her wanting to confiscate firearms. Harris has previously stated multiple times that she wants to launch a mandatory buyback program.
The ABC moderators said nothing.
2. "Fine People" Hoax:
Kamala Harris claimed Trump called neo-Nazi's "very fine people." This hoax was debunked by Snopes but the ABC moderators let it slide.
The ABC moderators said nothing.
3. Post-Birth Abortion:
Trump claimed babies were 'killed' outside the womb in failed abortions. Under Tim Walz, babies born alive in botched abortions are allowed to be left to die.
Eight babies who survived abortions in Minnesota were abandoned and sadly perished under Walz.
The ABC moderators simply said Trump was lying and moved on without adding context.
4. Defund the Police:
Kamala Harris laughed when Trump said she wanted to defund the police. During a previous interview, Harris said having more cops on the street is "wrong."
She also supported taking police officers out of schools.
The ABC moderators said nothing.
5. Bloodbath Hoax:
Kamala Harris claimed Trump said there would be a bloodbath if he is not elected, insinuating that his supporters would start killing people.
This is completely false. The comment was made during a rally where Trump said there would be a "bloodbath" for the American auto industry if he is not elected.
The ABC moderators said nothing.
x.com...
Trump was âfact checkedâ four times compared to Kamalaâs zero. Trump was pushed six times on questions and Kamala pushed zero times.
Some honorable mentions from the debate that also didn't get fact-checked:
Kamala saying Trump would ban IVF.
Kamala saying Project 2025 belongs to Trump.
Kamala saying Trump would sign a national abortion ban.
Kamala claiming police officers died on J6.
Trump not only faced Kamala Harris head-on, but he also had to deal with the âbiasedâ moderators who were set on undermining his powerful arguments.

In an official statement, Trumpâs campaign managers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles had this to say about Trumpâs stellar performance: âPresident Trump delivered a masterful debate performance tonight, prosecuting Kamala Harrisâ abysmal record of failure that has hurt Americans for the last 4 years.

"what are your thoughts and predictions?"
My thought is that it's crying shame these two no-talents are running for President. It wasn't even a real debate; just a slug and spit fest, each calling the other a liar. They obviously are clueless on many points. Trump doesn't understand tariffs and Kamala has never had an original thought in her life. All Kamala has ever done is "nuance" her way through problems while kissing the butt of the bigger fish higher up the food chain. Trump runs on immigration in a country in which 25% of the residents are foreign born.....he's so too late to close the gate it's not even funny. What's truly appealing is what Trump DOESN"T know. So, recent headline.......last quarter 1.5 million US born citizens lost their jobs while 1.4 million foreign born residents got new jobs. Trump could have made hay with that one but obviously missed it.
The US hasn't seen candidate quality this low since the 1800's.

I didn't watch.
It was way past my bedtime, and it would have just annoyed me.
From reading multiple sources with different agendas ...
Trump didn't do too well.
But Harris didn't either.
He said some stuff that didn't add up.
And he rambled and went off topic as usual.
She made false accusations about Project 2025 and IVF.
And she didn't actually answer questions, just had rehearsed platitudes.
And I see that she made a lot of stupid facial gestures.
The moderators called Trump out, but let Harris get away with her crap.
Looks like I didn't miss much.
