I have to hold my hands up as never having much time for Tommy two names, but watching this has made me feel like a right gimp.

It's kicking off outside Southport Mosque , Riot police deployed.

A large crowd has gathered outside a mosque in Southport as tensions run high in the town following the knife attack.

Police riot vans and officers are standing guard outside the building.

People can be heard shouting: "No surrender" and "English till I die".

Our team has seen bricks being thrown and a group of people attempting to tip a riot van.

Hundreds of youths and men and a large police presence remain on the streets surrounding Hart Street, where the attack took place.

Politicians of all persuasions are simply ignoring people's concerns.

Unfortunately sometimes it takes Direct Action to force people to do something.

Not saying I agree with it, but I understand it....and if something like that had happened on my doorstep I can't honestly say hand on heart that I wouldn't react the same.
