That mocking of Christ at the Last Supper wasn't a 'joke'.
For Christians it was blasphemy.
And there is a time and place for everything.
The Olympics, where people are supposed to be playing nice

Mocking Christ ... someone whom 1/3 of the worlds population believes is God incarnate ... is out of place at the Olympics where people are supposed to be coming together in peace and friendship. It was unnecessary and bad judgement to do so.

It seems more like people who've never read the Bible, paintings of the last supper and aren't aware of Olympic history Greek Mythology/Classics getting feelz hurt and playing grief olympics over nothing.

I was raised RC, went to religious schools and colleges and while not practicing/don't think Jesus was the son of god; I still think he was an awesome guy with great teachings (unlike the old testament god) and the float is nothing like the last supper.

It was an uneccessary woke/LGBT reminder of how homosexuality/trans/bi was normal and loads of gods/greek classics/philosphers were gay or changed sexes to see men or women enjoyed sex more but nothing remotely like the catholic/christian last supper.

There's a push to normalize depravity. Always has been. The public is being groomed much the same way abusers groom their victims.

If Muhammad had been mocked, there would be blood in the streets already. But they mock Christianity and Christ because they know they can get away with it. Absolutely disgusting! How long can people keep turning the other cheek?

I agree this is an insult to Christians and disgusting. I probably will not watch the Olympics very much as a result.

A lot of what I keep visualizing for those who support mockery is not suitable to be posted here so I will refrain from saying more. This was a good way to make me not watch the Olympics.
