I guess since no one posted - I have to do it.

France wouldn't allow one of their athletes to wear her hijab at the opening ceremonies .

The reasoning was the team needed to be secular.

ok. Maybe they have a point but then they go and allow this act:

In case the video doesn't work, it was drag queens recreating the last supper and then dancing with children.

People like this only want freedom and respect if it's their values.

Well hello there ATS!

Yeah about this. I’m not Christian, but this is BS.

Blatant and piled up high. And I love the Olympics.

If it were Muhammad in drag, Paris would be the City of Lights because it’d be on fire tonight. Big-Time.

The pandering to the ruling class is a direct assault on the coming together, trappings of the majesty of the human form and a peaceful competition amongst the physically fit and dominant athletes from across the globe.

Rarely does the world unify with such breath-taking circumstance as the Olympics, and to tarnish the Opening Ceremonies with the desecration of The Last Supper should draw the ire of Christians and all other religions too.

It’s humiliating. But. I applaud Christians for not immediately being incensed and destroying everything in sight. It’s infuriating to be sure to see this crap displayed.

But whoo-boy, when that pendulum does swing as we see in European politics and social life, better take cover.

Here’s to a safe & drama-free Olympics from here on out.

Go Team America!

Trannies and drag queens recreating the last supper.
Death riding a pale horse.
A golden calf.
The worldwide mockery of a specific group of people being openly celebrated around the globe.
This degeneracy has been foretold.
There’s nothing to fear.

You do know the group was over 20 people and featured a song by a person portraying Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, festivity and theatre? The selective screen cap being shared is not the whole image of the whole scene?

Assuming they intended for that screenshot.

Since when has France ever liked Americans?

That must be how France feels about our anti-woke Jesus crusade.

What else could anyone expect from the French? Them to not feel superior to us in some way?

In this case their mode of being culturally superior is, "vous etes des prudes tellement réprimés, Amérique."

Because we (American-led mostly) are the ones that do the viral posting about Bud Light and 'Tar-zheˈ (The fancy French pronunciation of Target), they are going to show us how much they care with dragqueens apparently.

If anything it could be mocking a painting.
Jesus and the disciples and likely the table didn't look like the painting which was commissioned in 1498. Think in 1498 there was outrage or it was considered mocking to use white guys instead of ethnically appropriate people? Something to ponder.

Ooooohhh. Okay.

The screen cap didn’t get it all, it’s just happened to be captured that way. Then I guess it’s all good.

Otherwise what better way to celebrate the epitome of the human form then with androgyny.

Waiting for the trans folks to be able to compete as their selected form. I mean gosh!

Despicable.

Have you ever been to France?

I have. As an American I have lived there for probably about 2 years total out of the last 35 or so and I have never experienced anything remotely like what you are saying. I've spent time in Paris, the Provinces, South of France, the French Alps, the Rhone valley, etc., etc.

Everywhere I go, when I tell them that I am American, they treat me like I had just landed on Omaha Beach and personally freed Paris. They have never been anything other than friendly and respectful.

I'm curious where you get your opinions from.

You’re right.

It looked just like the Opening Ceremony display.

Your French must be very good considering they would never speak to you in English.
That’s beneath them.
Sound about right?

This isn't about Jesus or Christianity. It's an homage to the Greek mythology of Dionysus. You are aware that the Olympics are from ancient Greece? Ancient cultures didn’t distinguish sharply between “homosexual” and “heterosexual” relationships. Sexual identity was a non-issue, and same-sex relationships were accepted. Distinctions and prohibitions only emerged later with the rise of Christianity.

It couldn’t have anything to do with the opening ceremony’s director being a homosexual and his bosses being globalists. Right?

Yup.

Should’ve gone with this at the 1984 LA Olympics.

Would’ve gone over pretty well.

Guess we’ll have to have the next LA Olympics include something truly outrageous as an homage. Right?

Anybody else get the feeling that all the world leaders are doing everything possible to create an uprising?

Sooner or later something's got to give.

Always been.

Just pisses me off it’s the Olympics. I get that we live in the era of out-of-context sound bites, deceiving photos, and now the advent of AI. No going back to be sure.

The Olympics are truly a unique spectacle and celebration of the human body and our interconnected relationship on this ball of blue ocean and brown rock.

To use it as a subversive tribute to anything else is blasphemous. Insult to injury to force the New World woke religion on one and all, using the Christian religion as the poster boy.

I do know WHEN it kicks off, all bets are off and it’s each nation for themselves. NO ONE is coming to help the Us the way we bailed Europe out 80 years ago. So yeah, when the sh!tstorm they’ve concocted takes affect, it’ll be messy, and France will be speaking something other then French. And it won’t be Duetsche, Ja?

It was clearly mocking Christianity.

Maybe if they started chopping people's heads off and throwing people off of roofs, they wouldn't get mocked.

I'm not Christian or even religious at all, but it is blatantly obvious.

People are going to do what you allow them to get away with..

I'd say stand up for yourselves or stop complaining about what you're letting them do.

Agreed! It was the most awful anddiabolical opening to an Olympics I have ever seen...... don't even get me started on the blatant soft porn of the 'menage et trois' early on in the proceedings! There were children watching FFS!

No it's clearly ancient Greece and Olympus where the Olympics originated, there's a number of Greek gods featured. Drag, homosexuality, orgies etc were the norm in Greek feasts. The cauldron above the scene is ancient greek, the guy in blue is the Greek God of the Olympics, feasts and wine.

It doesn't look anything like the last supper, there's several times more people taking part in the feast than the biblical description or paintings of the last supper.

Public perception changes...

USA was indeed considered as a European neighbor overseas. I think failing to keep religions out of politics has led to a widening gap between the cultures.

Media has also helped tremendously to correlate, US citizens to the hillbilly, redneck, maga, gun nutters. Not the patriotic war hero anymore...
