That is the point, they knew it was going to happen and the guy was such a lousy shot he wasn't going to hit Trump and he probably didn't but the nicked ear pantomime makes it more believable to his fan base.

If it was really the DS he would be dead.

Also Trump knew that dumb guy was the only one tricked into doing that. That is why he felt confident in spending extra seconds on the stage bumpfisting and hyping the crowd.

If someone offered money to this guy to shoot at him and create this event even though they knew he wasn't going to be able to pull it off then they accomplished what they wanted. Trumps graze can be BS but I'm sure it motivated a lot of people.

That doesn't change the fact that the shooter wasn't a sniper and he didn't have a sniper's rifle.

The point was that if the DS wanted a sniper with a better gun they could afford it. Obviously that wasn't the case here.

Trump would have to be a class A wacko just to dream up
an idea like that. Let alone approaching anyone with such
an idea and not expecting to land in the psych ward instead
of the oval office.

I'm not advocating for this, but would you allow the greatest shooter in the world to shoot you in the ear at 150 yards and trust that he would not miss and blow your brains out a pear sized hole in the back of your skull? I don't remember seeing this kids shooting creds, but they must be #ing tight.

you don't need to be anyone. My premise had to do with allowing a sharpshooter to nick your ear with a high powered rifle at 150 yards. For the "Trump orchestrated this" aspect to be true, he would have had to be this brave and trust the shot and the shooter with his life. I just want to know who else would be that brave and have that much trust in a shooter.
