I pay taxes for a lot I donā€™t agree with.

Useless argument.

Wrong.

You get pregnant.
You want to slaughter the innocent baby.
YOU PAY FOR IT.
It's not my responsibility.
It's yours.
Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions.
Stop trying to stick everyone else with the financial bill.
That murder is totally on YOU - physically, spiritually and financially.

Talk YOU.

Not ME.

How about explaining who should pay ? And why I should if I am not the baby daddy or the grandparent?

Meaningless word salad.

YOU get pregnant.
YOU want to slaughter the innocent baby.
Then YOU pay the executioner.
It's your responsibility.
It's your moral failure.
Don't be trying to get other people to pay for your mistakes.
Don't be trying to spread your moral failure on others.

Grow up ... YOU PAY.

Abortions shouldnā€™t be used as a means of birth control, thatā€™s the biggest issue I have with abortions. Unfortunately, the majority of abortions are performed in that context. Donā€™t want a kid, keep your legs closed or use one of the many forms of birth control available. My tax dollars shouldnā€™t be used for your lack of responsibility and accountability. I have no problem funding birth control for those who canā€™t afford it but the amount of people usging abortion as a means of birth control is astronomical.

ā€¦and yes Iā€™m fully aware of the exceptions such as rape and major deformities, thatā€™s a different discussion.

Why not?

If you're not ready to become a parent -- then don't become one.

And don't bring up all the silly arguments of abstinence, protection, blah blah -- nothing is full proof.

Procreation is a biological mechanism.

Any idiot can reproduce. And many do.

Some should never ever be a parent.

It's not special.

Sure. But I believe our ability to think about things on a deeper level gives us the opportunity to view things as more than mere mechanisms of the natural world.

I SUPPORT LIVING CHILDREN. ALL OF THEM.

When every child is cared for, fed, educated, sheltered - etc -- then talk to be about the unwanted before they are a child.

Who REALLY cares, loves the child?

And who is caught up in belief, concept, self-righteousness, etc.

I don't agree.

"We" are conditioned to think a certain way.

Just out of curiosity.

When do you consider a child, no longer a child?

Is it at a certain age? A certain maturity level?

What's the cut off for your caring?

Just basing an opinion off of what sheā€™s posted about the subject, Iā€™d say the cut off is ā€œconvenienceā€.
Humans are similar to animals except we choose to procreate.

Is a pregnant 12-year-old a woman or a child?

Since when have women had a choice whether or not to procreate?

I would agree. Though my question is more general.

There is another subject, and on that one she doesn't care what the kids have to say after they're not kids anymore (regarding said subject).

So I was just wondering about the cut off of interest and support.

But I predict it's as you said, regarding any subject. Convenience.

Nuns make that decision all the time.

Nuns are a very small section of humanity for one to claim that humans are different from animals because they can choose to procreate. However, rape supersedes a nun's pseudo choice not to conceive. In the USA it was legal to rape your wife until the 1990s. It's still legal in lots of countries around the world. Historically, women were bought and sold into marriage as property, and have had no choice in the matter. It wasn't until the 1970's that women were allowed to have a bank account without a responsible male's permission let alone obtain birth control.

Women weren't born with an on/off option on their ovaries. The only way for a woman to become pregnant is for a man to ejaculate. Only men can decide whether or not to ejaculate inside a woman. Once inside, it's outside the woman's control. Human women can't really "decide" not to procreate.

Can human men decide not to procreate? Only if they decide not to ejaculate inside a woman, but is that desire really something we humans can control? I don't believe so.
