The only things in my life that are better than they were pre 202 election are things that I had full control of. Nothing else has gotten better.

We do not have enough time in the day to go over things that have gotten worse, that were outside of my control, since pre 2020 election.

I know what build back better was about, I don't think you quite picked up on the sarcasm in my post. Biden and his admin have done nothing but screw over the American people since day 1.

The problem with your democracy seems to be that once you vote (cough) your President in, unless he gets impeached you are stuck with them.

We vote for a party on the whole and the leader of the winning party gets to be PM.

If he or her looks like an electoral liability or screws up, the party can give them the boot. Eg Liz Truss who famously was outlasted by a lettuce.

Maybe that's the answer, they need a Presidential ban hammer voted on and ordered by the people to be able to say 'next'? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...nothing ever changes.

As a more right wing extremist in this political spectrum, if Trump gets in it means that the most extensive voter fraud system is broken as the Democratic Party is out.

With the information war going on, Trump is a threat to the democrats. As for democracy it's self, Trumps threat to democracy is another pathological projection. Like saying Trump is going to start WW3 while he stopped more wars than any other president. We would not be in Ukraine now if Trump was still in office.

It is a good question about what this threat is exactly that Trump poses to democracy. Looks like another nothing burger think with propaganda that is designed to trigger those with TDS with another dose of fear and panic for submissive compliance.

Why are you focusing on the definition of the who in that question but cannot answer the actual question?

You are seeming to be setting up a distraction rather than actually wanting clarification.

It has to do with intent and context...yeah, still haven't got a specific definition from the OP. He only supposes.

why don't you go find a thread you can derail that isn't this one. I realize you have a mission here to be the best DERP you can, and trust me on this, you have my vote. But others may actually want to offer an answer.

So you finally decided to explain what you mean by 'left' a little late in the game, next time do better in your opening post.

that was my mistake. I just ASSumed that the people here on ATS were smart enough to understand the basics. I was incorrect.

You suppose and assume too much, do better next time and you didn't answer my question, are Republicans who consider Trump to be a threat to democracy also now relegated to the 'left'?

Yes, I consider anyone who doesn't think just as I do as "left". I can't just call them assholes, as that's frowned upon at the grocery store, but for you, I will drill down on the definition as it seem to be what you really want to talk about.

But your presence here was really important for me to understand where the breaking point of comprehension is for those who don't think just like me. I will do my best to get the mods to make a special crayon font for me to use when making threads you might wan to read. I'm here for you.

So help me along, watch the Ex-Trump WH Spox explain why Trump is a threat to democracy...help us all out in understanding why a Republican would turn 'left' when it comes to Donny boy?

Yes. Anyone who would claim they would "protest" aginst Trump by voting for Biden, after seeing what he has done, it's "left" in my eyes. Both party wise, and the part where the "left" common sense behind. (left actually has two meanings in that instance, we can work on that next week, I don't want to overwhelm you)

Well, to me it's not 'left' not 'right' just policies and whether they work for you or they don't. As for women, it appears Trump's and the Christian right's policies do not work for women.

I wasn't aware this thread was about you.

did you notice the reply where I asked you to quote where you gave the answer on page 1? If not, can you show me the answer you gave on page 1 or was that just another lie?

I replied to OldCarpy not to you because OldCarpy actually reads my replies and is not looking for an argument.

What matters is not whether I think Trump is a threat to democracy, is if deep down inside you might actually believe that he is, since one in four Republicans think that he is a threat to democracy.

So, your pole indicates one in four Republicans are Rhinos and not actually Republicans? Sounds about right. I also think at least one in four Democrats are not true Democrats according to the definition of liking and supporting Biden and the other leaders of the Democrat party.

TDS?

More like "tedious".

As for democracy, those on here that claim to champion it seem very quick to shout down and belittle anyone who dares to have a different viewpoint or ask questions?

I don't get how the term "Liberal' seems to be used as an insult.

I think if Reuters/Ipsos meant RHINO they would have said RHINO, but no, they use the word 'Republicans'.

Another reality check:

About half of US Republicans could spurn Trump if he is convicted, Reuters/Ipsos poll shows

www.reuters.com...

Again, notice they use the word 'Republicans' not RHINO.

We had president Trump. He was pretty good for the nation. No new wars, border security, international relevance, good economy, etc. We've had president Biden, global chaos, economic landslide, open borders, open corruption, JAILING THE OPPOSITION, jailing journalists, etc.

Who's threatening democracy?

I want Dude to define it, it's his thread. Please offer a coherent reply is what Dude wants, follow the OPs lead.

Playing dumb, or not being smart enough t figure it out is a bad look

The bad look is from the OP refusing to define what he means by 'left'.

Maybe he doesn't give a flying # if you answer it. Did you ever think of that possiblility?

no, I don't think you did. But you can prove me wrong by quoting it. If you can't quote it, then you are just showing what a true DERP in progress looks like. I know that's your game, which is why I bother answering you. I enjoy making you look silly, it's not much of a challenge, but it beats pulling lint out of my belly button.

I was just going to say the same thing, but what do you expect from people who don't know how to define what a women is. It's not that they don't have answers it's just when they say them out loud they don't like what they hear. So rather than face reality they deflect off into it's all a matter of perspective which is another way of saying opinion over facts.

Let's say opposition or any other word you prefer to left, can you answer the question coherently with that change?

I am very curious about an answer to the op question from anyone really.

I have found that 'democracy' is the 'Democrat party' when Democrats use it. It has nothing to do with actual democracy by their definition.

The Republicans are also opposed to many Christian extremist 'right'(?) policies, are they to be included in the term 'left'?

Why don't you define Christian extremist 'right'(?) policies.

I honestly want a definition of 'left' so I can understand the intent and context of the OPs post. Still waiting Dude.

Still waiting on Dude to define it, it's his thread not yours.

I am most definitely ignorant to what 'left' means within the intent and context of this thread. Dude? What is the 'left'?

I might have a reply to OPs question as soon as he defines 'left' for me. I need to have a meeting of the minds of intent and context before replying to a topic, unlike most of you here.

The bad look is from the OP refusing to define what he means by 'left'.
