The problem with your democracy seems to be that once you vote (cough) your President in, unless he gets impeached you are stuck with them.
We vote for a party on the whole and the leader of the winning party gets to be PM.
If he or her looks like an electoral liability or screws up, the party can give them the boot. Eg Liz Truss who famously was outlasted by a lettuce.

Why are you focusing on the definition of the who in that question but cannot answer the actual question?
You are seeming to be setting up a distraction rather than actually wanting clarification.
It has to do with intent and context...yeah, still haven't got a specific definition from the OP. He only supposes.
why don't you go find a thread you can derail that isn't this one. I realize you have a mission here to be the best DERP you can, and trust me on this, you have my vote. But others may actually want to offer an answer.
So you finally decided to explain what you mean by 'left' a little late in the game, next time do better in your opening post.
that was my mistake. I just ASSumed that the people here on ATS were smart enough to understand the basics. I was incorrect.
You suppose and assume too much, do better next time and you didn't answer my question, are Republicans who consider Trump to be a threat to democracy also now relegated to the 'left'?
Yes, I consider anyone who doesn't think just as I do as "left". I can't just call them assholes, as that's frowned upon at the grocery store, but for you, I will drill down on the definition as it seem to be what you really want to talk about.
But your presence here was really important for me to understand where the breaking point of comprehension is for those who don't think just like me. I will do my best to get the mods to make a special crayon font for me to use when making threads you might wan to read. I'm here for you.
So help me along, watch the Ex-Trump WH Spox explain why Trump is a threat to democracy...help us all out in understanding why a Republican would turn 'left' when it comes to Donny boy?
Yes. Anyone who would claim they would "protest" aginst Trump by voting for Biden, after seeing what he has done, it's "left" in my eyes. Both party wise, and the part where the "left" common sense behind. (left actually has two meanings in that instance, we can work on that next week, I don't want to overwhelm you)
Well, to me it's not 'left' not 'right' just policies and whether they work for you or they don't. As for women, it appears Trump's and the Christian right's policies do not work for women.
I wasn't aware this thread was about you.
did you notice the reply where I asked you to quote where you gave the answer on page 1? If not, can you show me the answer you gave on page 1 or was that just another lie?
I replied to OldCarpy not to you because OldCarpy actually reads my replies and is not looking for an argument.
What matters is not whether I think Trump is a threat to democracy, is if deep down inside you might actually believe that he is, since one in four Republicans think that he is a threat to democracy.

So, your pole indicates one in four Republicans are Rhinos and not actually Republicans? Sounds about right. I also think at least one in four Democrats are not true Democrats according to the definition of liking and supporting Biden and the other leaders of the Democrat party.
About half of US Republicans could spurn Trump if he is convicted, Reuters/Ipsos poll shows
An easy question for the left

LOL, and you apparently haven't a clue what that means. It's a shame you don't just say that, but instead rail on and on about how you don't know stuff. (it's not a secret. everybody knows)

Any moron that believes it.
I want Dude to define it, it's his thread. Please offer a coherent reply is what Dude wants, follow the OPs lead.
Playing dumb, or not being smart enough t figure it out is a bad look
The bad look is from the OP refusing to define what he means by 'left'.

Maybe he doesn't give a flying # if you answer it. Did you ever think of that possiblility?

He obviously does care because he keeps asking for my answer, when I already gave it on page 1, he just doesn't like the answer...now did you ever think about that possibility?

Let's say opposition or any other word you prefer to left, can you answer the question coherently with that change?
I am very curious about an answer to the op question from anyone really.
I have found that 'democracy' is the 'Democrat party' when Democrats use it. It has nothing to do with actual democracy by their definition.
The Republicans are also opposed to many Christian extremist 'right'(?) policies, are they to be included in the term 'left'?
First define what you mean by 'left'?
I want Dude to define it, it's his thread. Please offer a coherent reply is what Dude wants, follow the OPs lead.
I honestly want a definition of 'left' so I can understand the intent and context of the OPs post. Still waiting Dude.
Still waiting on Dude to define it, it's his thread not yours.
I am most definitely ignorant to what 'left' means within the intent and context of this thread. Dude? What is the 'left'?
I might have a reply to OPs question as soon as he defines 'left' for me. I need to have a meeting of the minds of intent and context before replying to a topic, unlike most of you here.
The bad look is from the OP refusing to define what he means by 'left'.
