As you can see by some of the replies, there's going to be a lot of dodging and ducking and playing semantics.

Good luck brother. I've been asking that question for years and never got a straight answer.

Maybe take a look and see that they are not online at the moment and take a break from drooling on your keyboard until they return

There is no straight answer as I can't even keep a straight face with OPs opening post.

I'd like to know, too.

Here in the UK we have had very real swivel eyed Marxists like Corbyn.

Not seeing anything like that over there?

I suppose it would be those who think Biden is good and Trump is a threat to democracy. I don't know anyone who appears to be conservative and thinks Biden is doing well. So for the ease of the discussion, we can go with that.

Neither am I, or are we on a wild goose chase. Could be because the OP won't define what a 'left' is, so let's just all ramble on.

Let's say opposition or any other word you prefer to left, can you answer the question coherently with that change?

I am very curious about an answer to the op question from anyone really.

I have found that 'democracy' is the 'Democrat party' when Democrats use it. It has nothing to do with actual democracy by their definition.

Any moron that believes it.

I want Dude to define it, it's his thread. Please offer a coherent reply is what Dude wants, follow the OPs lead.

Playing dumb, or not being smart enough t figure it out is a bad look

The bad look is from the OP refusing to define what he means by 'left'.

wow, I am sorry. I just had a friend stop by, and I took a few minutes to speak to him. I'll try to be better.

You suppose?

Nobody really thinks Biden is good, nor Trump was good or will be good, or anybody else for that matter. It's not a 'left' or 'right' problem it's a 'no good choice' problem.

How about next time explain your intent and context in your opening post, that would make for an intelligent way of going forward, so your readers know what the hell you are on about other than another bait thread.

First define what you mean by 'left'?

Wait, what?

The terms "left" and "right" have been used for as long as I can remember, and I am 60. How is it you have never heard of them?

edit: To clarify...these terms are/have been used when referring to democrats and republicans

The Republicans are also opposed to many Christian extremist 'right'(?) policies, are they to be included in the term 'left'?

Those terms vary in meaning depending upon who is using them.

So, now you clearly won't be getting a straight answer.
That'll teach you to talk to a friend while a leftist is attempting to appear rational.

I dislike Biden and Trump.

I'm not "on the left" and have been a right wing Tory most of my life.

Now disillusioned with the lot of them.

well, I suppose it could be a bait thread. That is if nobody actually believes that Trump is a threat to Democracy but they still say it because they were told to. But if you watch "left" news sources, (and no, I won't be defining that for you, figure that one out on your own) they keep claiming Trump is a threat to democracy.

if he truly is, then we all need to understand why. If it's hyperbole from but hurt crybabies, I think we need to know that as well, so we know how to navigate the future.

The fail is OPs opening post...now trying to back peddle from it being a bait thread. I'm not 'left' nor 'right' and my definitions are that there is no such thing, except within extremist groups. Otherwise, we are all looking for a piece of the pie and not getting it no matter who is elected, no matter, where they are elected.
