For Russian citizens, Putin did not say anything new. We already know all this. But for hundreds of millions of Westerners, zombified by communist propaganda, Putin said really shocking things. The truth will definitely win.

The communist propaganda was all yours though...lol When I was in Russia back in the 70s the anti-west propaganda was hilarious, I think I still have posters in a box somewhere.

We also need to understand that the USSR reinvented its history and today Putin says this is our history. Crimea is a really good example of how Russians created a fake history for that place.

Yes, good isn't it?

Yes, and I'm proud of my president. Which Western leader can compare with him? Is it really grandpa Biden, “liverwurst” Scholz, not a man - not a woman Macron, or this..... what’s his name... “real Englishman” Sunak?)))) I’ll keep silent about the son of Fidel Castro - Canadian premiere))))
Complete degradation.

The whole world observes communist propaganda only from the leaders of the West.

This reminds me of a quote from a book by the American Charles Cole, who visited the USSR in 1972. He met a certain African at an exhibition in Moscow and asked him how many students from his country were studying in Moscow. The African replied:

"Yes, we send them all here to the Soviet Union. We used to send our students to Princeton, Columbia and Berkeley, but they all came back Marxists. Now we send them here, and after three or four years in the USSR they all come back convinced anti-communists."

The West has found what it has been looking for for a long time and what it finally found - it is ruled by communists.

Fortunately for whom? If for Russians, then we are interested in smart, sane partners. If for the West, then in a madhouse everyone is happy, both patients and orderlies))))

I don't want to sound like a fanboi of yours, but I think it's important for everyone to remember, you are Russian, live in Russia, and are happy and proud of your home, just as many of us love our homes, and are proud of where we live. That doesn't make any of us bad, it makes us all human, and I would be Leary of someone who didn't love their home, and wasn't proud of where they live.

I enjoy learning about the perspective you bring as we don't have many people here who can offer a candid peak into Russian life. I'll remove my lips from your ass cheek now. Just wanted to remind everyone of how lucky we are to have this kind of forum to speak to people all over the world.

Of course, I agree with you, my friend. It’s just about the “lips on the ass” - it shocks me. You know, I am a conservative and an Orthodox person. For me, real male friendship is very important, and not what it has been turned into in the West.

Thank you

if you didn't catch it with the translator, it's a euphemism for "kissing ass, or brown nosing" something like sucking up to the boss or trying to pretend to be a fan. It isn't literal, as that would be silly.

As a outside observer with no skin in the game it has been embarrassing to watch what has happened since 2020 in America , Can you imagine any other world leader carring on like Joe Biden and being allowed to get away with it .

It was not so long ago the democratic party were calling for the 25th amendment on Trump when he was President and Biden cannot remember being VP or what year his son died or even where his son died .

I have the early stages of dementia and I can see the advanced stages in Biden , a former neighbour of mine years ago was walking in the front door and going out the back door and did not remember a thing .

It is a horrible thing and hard to explain, I get up to make a coffee and by the time I have reached the kettle 12 foot away I have forgotten what I was doing in the kitchen , I stand up and it's 2024 , I take one step and I am thinking about 2002 by the time I am at the kettle I am looking out the window thinking it is 1985 , I look back into my living room and it is a strange alien world so so far away and I wonder what I am doing here .

All the above is true and happened to me not long ago , I am not running a country or giving people orders or being visable on a world stage like Biden is .

Us Brits had a saying about the slaughter that happened in WW1 with the idiots in command sending waves of young men to their deaths , Lions led by lambs .

What is history going to think about the years 2020 to 2024

So sorry about your disease. I hope you get the help you need.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your intelligence shine through.

Now is the time for everyone, all of us citizens, to stand up against our leaders and demand accountability, before they drag us all into hell along with them.

BINGO!

Thank your for responding to my post with a breakdown for each of the points you highlighted.

You are held captive by a powerful narrative, best described as brain washing and you can't see beyond it because the indoctrination is etched so deep.

I don't know what it will take to repair the damage they have done to your mind, but at least you will have plenty of company.

Cognitive dissonance is real .. sit down and talk to a conspiracy theorist if you need further information.

Good luck!

If you would rather have a deluded dictator with a penchant for invading neighbouring countries then I can see why you would think that.

At least in Canada you get a choice.

No, I understand. We have different euphemisms and memes, because we have different mentalities. I am very often misunderstood on our forum, because I am an emotional person and use Russian euphemisms.

Everything is fine))))

I watched about half of the interview last night and I’ll probably watch the rest at some point this weekend.

Felt like Tucker was playing a little softball early on, but I think that was to make sure it didn’t set the wrong tone and keep dialog open instead of making it defensive.

He started asking some good questions more into the interview.

So far it added perspective, and while I disagree with some of Putin’s takes, it’s beneficial to hear him out.

I don’t feel like it was dangerous, anyone with a well thought out world view can take away from it while still maintaining their beliefs. Everyone should be able to hear any ideology and come more into accord with their own, if not the problem is them or societal.

Everyone should listen to this interview just for the history lesson. Putin gave an excellent summary of Russian history as it relates to the region. I don't believe it's an excuse for a war. But that's part of Russian history now.

Putin is obviously alive and well. Can't say the same for the U.S. president - walking zombie with dementia.

You get a choice in Canada sometimes. Go against Turdeau (sorry auto spell check changed that), and your bank account might very well be frozen and your money gone. He also ADORES communists, marxists, and people like Jinping and Kim Un.

I don't know what that really means, but I have been to Russia many times back in the day with USSR and I saw it firsthand. We also know that propaganda and Communism go hand in hand as a major tool they use. Putin is old school USSR, and even during the initial invasion what did you all say... We invaded because of the Nazies, then we invaded because of US bio labs, then because you are killing everyone in Danbas (which is now funny that Russia has leveled the whole place), then it was because we are butt hurt our Russian puppet man was removed from office (Maybe if he didn't start killing people it might have helped him to stay in place, but oh no it was the CIA as Putin said in his interview), then it was because Ukranien wanted to join NATO...I think there were 3 or 4 more reasons, maybe you can help.

The West has found what it has been looking for for a long time and what it finally found - it is ruled by communists.

I remember how living under the USSR was. Do you remember lines forming and people just getting in line not knowing what was on the end, but it was something? I could go on for days about life in the USSR...

AND you know what it isn't any better today for 80% of your population. You really need to come to America my friend and see the differences between your villages of today which might as well be in the 1930s still, and ours that are in 2024, thank you...
