Yes, and I'm proud of my president. Which Western leader can compare with him? Is it really grandpa Biden, “liverwurst” Scholz, not a man - not a woman Macron, or this..... what’s his name... “real Englishman” Sunak?)))) I’ll keep silent about the son of Fidel Castro - Canadian premiere))))
Complete degradation.

Which other President is a psychopath too, then we can compare.

OMG!!! WTF was with him constantly reflecting questions with a history lesson of up to 1200 years ago?

I mean he flat out lied and contradicted himself a lot too… but I’m used to that, all western politicians do that. Those god damn history lesson rants though!!!

Is that a cultural thing or what? Because it was very frustrating. To be perfectly honest I’d prefer if he just lied like a normal politician and kept the conversation to this century.

I did enjoy hearing his perspective of Russias relationship with the US though, it was kind of interesting. Tucker Carson did actually do a good job of asking hard questions and trying to keep Putin on track when he went off on one of his history rants. I’m not a fan of Tucker, but got to give him credit on that.

Can’t of been easy either, damn right daunting actually. Sitting there in the Kremlin interviewing the most powerful person in Russia who has people killed for simply being critical of him.

Putin talked a lot of nonsense about negotiations and peace, but then at the end stated he’s true motivation and goal, which is to make Ukraine apart of Russia for pure ideological purposes. He’s a true scumbag and needs to be stopped.

You know that I've got great respect for you that you atleast say how you feel something we al want to feel about our own government or president, but we actually live a new kind of communism maybe its not that but something feels like that I don't know to express that feeling.

Because big corporations rule our world and hold us a kind of hostage
They even poison us with big pharma and vaccines.

And if it's not that then they take us hostage with controlled inflation.
I'm saying it just out here and i don't care either because for those who thrive by this will only see this when it happens to them.

Great fully there are also people from lets say higher up that see this and we need those people to.

Peoples from higher up that do see this and fight for a descent equal understanding.

There's only one rule there are good people and bad people as it always has been besides their color or background they know how we all live and whois to blame for all of this.

This is a major moment, The Russians are doing a big buildup of troops, and the opposing side is also building up fast. The fact that Putin allowed an Interview at this time could be seen as a last-ditch attempt to lay out Russia's point of view. For serious peace talks before it is too late. Putin laid out that if NATO troops go into Ukraine it will unleash a catastrophe. So the situation as it stands is that there seems to be a big buildup of Russian troops to finish the Ukraine campaign.NATO will enter Ukraine and try to stop it, if they do no doubt that there will be a major escalation, In the interview he stated that it would give Russia a valid excuse to invade.

I am so glad that I watched this completely.

Tucker did an excellent job of letting him speak his mind, and only interrupting for clarity.

I do not agree with many of the the things Putin said, but for one thing... he knows his history, and I wonder how many American presidents would be able to pull up a dissertation on American history with such detail.

I reserve my opinions personally, especially since my own country has such poor leadership.

This war needs to stop, as all wars should. There are so many problems in this world that need attention and killing each other is just plain stupid.

I believe it all from Khodorkovsky, and this is exactly how I felt about Putin's alternative reality history lesson:

During his rambling exercise in alternative history at the beginning of the interview, Putin said Ukraine was an artificial entity created at the initiative of Joseph Stalin (Khodorkovsky)

Imagine if Carlson had asked him tougher questions – like, ‘why don’t you let real candidates take part in elections?’ Or, ‘why don’t you allow independent media in Russia?

Yes, imagine if Tucker actually asked any real questions.

Yes, in the category of: The dumbing down of the Western world. All the historians in the world are shaking their heads because of the absurd falsification of history that Putin is practicing. Who are the real sheep here?

Putin claimed, for example, that the Ukrainian nation was just an invention of the Austrian general staff at the end of the 19th century in order to "weaken the potential enemy" Russia. Facts such as the three partitions of Poland in 1771, 1793 and 1795, which ultimately forced all ethnic Poles under the rule of the Moscow tsars as well as Prussia and Habsburg, do not exist in his mind.

Putin's claims about the Second World War were particularly abstruse. According to him, the Polish state, which was re-established in 1918, bore the main responsibility - Warsaw had first "collaborated" with Hitler and then refused to allow Soviet forces to march through to the Polish western border in 1938 in order to help the Czechoslovak Republic, which had just been attacked by the Third Reich.

But i'm pretty sure you guys don't care.

Can some industrious member here do the non-Twittards a favor and upload the "egregious examples" in screenshot format so we don't have to dig through piles of propaganda and opinion pieces to find the relevant substance? Please and thanks.

I must Admit , Mr. Putin is sounding Saner than my Own Government Leadership . Who Wants Nuclear War ? Those who Instigate it ?

How many times in the last few years have Russian leaders talked about using nukes on the west vs western leaders talking about nuking Russia?

I am not sure if I can trust ANY reports from our MSN. Their agenda does not match our founding father's as my own one also matches with the COTUS and DOI.

I watched about half of the interview last night and I’ll probably watch the rest at some point this weekend.

Felt like Tucker was playing a little softball early on, but I think that was to make sure it didn’t set the wrong tone and keep dialog open instead of making it defensive.

He started asking some good questions more into the interview.

So far it added perspective, and while I disagree with some of Putin’s takes, it’s beneficial to hear him out.

I don’t feel like it was dangerous, anyone with a well thought out world view can take away from it while still maintaining their beliefs. Everyone should be able to hear any ideology and come more into accord with their own, if not the problem is them or societal.

It's unsettling to watch a solid hour of Putin and think to myself, this guy might be excoriated as the 2nd most evil president of the modern century but I'll be damned if Biden doesn't make him sound astute and methodical in comparison.

Putin understands that, with the passing of most who experienced WWII and its preliminaries up close and personal, that he can lie all he wants about what went on back then ... because many now view that period as ancient history and not relevant to events of today.

The USSR was Nazi Germany's partner in the commencement of open warfare between nations in Europe. And the USSR didn't stop being a partner of the Nazis until Hitler invaded the USSR. But you'll never hear that from Putin.

Cheers
