An interesting look into Putin's mind. The peace agreement was already signed by the negotiator in Istanbul, expecting the rest to sign, then Boris Johnston convinced them otherwise. Is that because they think that they can dictate the terms from a battlefield victory most likely as they are stepping up the pressure, as Putin said when the NATO troops have feet on the ground in Ukraine all bets are off. Either way, I am glad that I am not in the European theatre because he said if attacked they would have to invade Poland or Germany, the prewar situation is obvious.
Putin was especially reminiscent of the forgotten Minsk agreement and the bases surrounding Russia, the only person who looked worried was Tucker, Because for Every base around mostly landlocked Russia there would be a Submarine around mostly marine-based USA . The moment that war is declared they would no doubt consider the option of a launch into the industrial centers of the USA, I would suggest that Putin is resigned to this fact. Then would blame it on the neo nazis.

Not watching it, but I can only assume Putin is laying a historical groundwork to justify his invasion of Ukraine.

He's talking about killing puppies and kittens. Oh my, now he's smashing the camera man with a tire iron. This is wild. But don't watch it or you might catch some of the Russia.

Full quote:

“Now they are talking about nuclear blackmail. The Zaparozye nuclear power plant was shelled and also some high position representatives of leading Nato states were saying that there might be possibility and permissibility to use nuclear weapons against Russia.

“Those that allow such statements shall be reminded that our country also has various weapons of destruction, and ... they are even more modern than the Nato ones and if there is a threat to the territorial integrity of our country and for protecting our people, we will certainly use all the means available to us and I’m not bluffing.

i skipped some monologues but the essence comes at the end. putin believes in heart that ukraine belongs to russia: "it brings together our souls." shakespearean!

I wonder how killing all the people in both countries between 18 and 50 factors into the love fest. War is such a noble cause.

Where’s the quote of a high ranking NATO rep talking about nuking Russia?

It'll be interesting to see if there was any further dialogue not in the interview and if Tucker had any other interviews with other important people while he was there.

I think this interview will have plenty of analytics to follow, but the history lesson is well overdue to the "kneejerkers" who hear a name or event and let their feelz speak instead of their minds.

Perhaps if this Ukraine war and all the political conflict has a chance to settle down in the future, Russia will have a boom in tourism and people can find out for themselves (if they have a passport) about just how hospitable and HUMAN the Russian people can be when they are not ignorantly stereotyped as enemies of the world.

At the end of the day though, this cheeky little monkey has perhaps no more than 10 years left on this ball of dirt, and we're all mad as hatters as far as I am concerned and can go to hell in a handbasket. Personally I'll try to slip quietly into a river somewhere to carry on my journey before my last heartbeat.

nerb out.

Where’s the quote of a high ranking NATO rep talking about nuking Russia?

“NATO will take all necessary steps to ensure the credibility, effectiveness, safety and security of the nuclear deterrent mission. The Alliance is committed to ensuring greater integration and coherence of capabilities and activities across all domains and the spectrum of conflict, while reaffirming the unique and distinct role of nuclear deterrence. NATO will continue to maintain credible deterrence, strengthen its strategic communications, enhance the effectiveness of its exercises and reduce strategic risks.”

www.nato.int...

"Any use of nuclear weapons is absolutely unacceptable, it will totally change the nature of the conflict, and Russia must know that a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought," NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said.
"When we see that kind of nuclear rhetoric again and again from Russia, from President Putin, it is something that we have to take seriously - and therefore we are conveying the clear message that this will have severe consequences for Russia."

Sounds like verbiage speaking of retaliatory.

I don’t think any western leader with any serious power has used first strike rhetoric. The same can’t be said for Russia.

Hold them to the same standard.

If NATO is speaking retaliatory, then so is Russia.

So no other Russian leaders spoke of first strikes?
