Well at least there was evidence presented that got them convicted and a defense that presented a defense. 😀

Trump was impeached for incitement of insurrection, and it's still a ongoing investigation. Are you J6'er? You sure sound like one.

Trump made statements on J6 that falsely claimed widespread voter fraud and that he was seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. He repeatedly and baselessly asserted that he won the election, despite the certified results indicating otherwise.

When Trump made these false statements, it encouraged his brainwashed supporters to storm the Capitol in a violent and unlawful manner.

Each state is responsible for their own elections. In this case, the Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that Trump is ineligible.

Except a State can't override The U.S. Constitution can it? 😀

Generally the only time they can do that is in regards to individual laws and rulings, and in very limited cases. Take Michigan for example - DUI checkpoints were deemed constitutional by the SCOTUS, and deemed UNconstitutional by the Michigan SC, mainly due to the state constitution that dictates the state laws can and will take precedent over federal laws only when the state laws offer the citizens more freedoms... or something like that. It's been a while since I looked at it.

But as far the Constitution goes...... Its a highly Left leaning state with all of their courts stacked in that favor. They'll do whatever they want, whenever they want. They don't care.

Republicans repeatedly made false claims about the election and encouraged unrest ahead of violent scenes in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

Great job showing your MAGA extremism, I guess you backwoods people think everyone is a commie.

Nice try Ricky Bobby!

They just don't see it.

Or, by choice, refuse to see who/what Trump really is.

I'm way over those who do nothing because they fear Trump.

See that Orange Man Bad. Why? Because Orange Man Bad.

Sure there's a confirmation bias, lack of critical thinking, zero short term memory, denial, masochism, obliviousness, and other things that are required to reach the ideology of Orange Man Bad....

......... but Orange Man Bad.

"There's no question Trump supported an Insurrection!" - Joe Biden

thehill.com...

Biden could have demonstrated he possessed a little integrity by asking Colorado to not disenfranchise millions of citizens. But nope. He confirms his scummy callous nature for all America to see (again).

Most certainly.

And ''IF'' he is the chosen tool of God in these precarious times as many of his most ardent followers think him to be then that would make his adversaries the tools and fools of the Devil . And ''IF'' he is not then that would make those disciples war mongering zealots pushing the nation to the brink of idiocy at the behest of a book of fantasy written thousands of years ago, hey what?

So ''IF'' Trump does not believe that he is the most important tool of God right now, what can we make of his acceptance of those peoples support knowing them to be the addle patted fools they would be...But ""IF'' he does believe he is, who, other than those that push THAT agenda would want him anywhere near a seat of power.

I am not a Trump fan. I go Libertarian.
I am against the Colorado ruling.
Because it does not go through DUE PROCESS.
They claim that Trump engaged in insurrection.
However, he has never been charged or found guilty of it.
So them taking him off the ballot is partisan election interference.

The 14th Amendment stipulates the process, which clearly says Congress shall have the power to ensure that a person cannot run for office .

"If you want to impeach a president, if you want to make him not be able to run in the future, there's a provision. It requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate," . " But the idea that the framers of the 14th Amendment intended to circumvent that carefully drawn provision and simply allow any state to make up grounds for denying him the right to be on the ballot undercuts democracy."

You are Obviously Ignorant of the Law and your Opinion of this Case Means Nothing to the Informed ..........

Now we know for sure Biden seems to be against due process and The Constitution. That alone, by the Colorado Standards, can disqualify Biden from Ballots!! ☣️😃

No, it is not. Congress found him not guilty. They are the governing body of the Federal Government and elections. The FBI and DOJ also released findings that there was no evidence of a coordinated insurrection.

If this was the real world it would be over.

It was a little different back then. This was also the first time a Republican ran for office....and they won. There was also no balloting system like there is today. You just showed up, they checked your name and voted. It was not 'secret' per se.
