If you support the call for Israel to offer ceasefire, then you support Hamas.

Well when someone's actively swinging at you you tend to swing back,
unless you're the Quaker Oats guy.

Yeah, which is why I support Israel.

October 7th.

Might want to check and see what happened.

That came across a bid snide on my part, and wasn't actually meant to be.
I meant for that to apply to both sides.

But the fact remains, Israel is not hitting critical Hamas targets with this shelling and bombing.
If they let up for a while, Hamas would have to come up for air and resupply, and Israel could watch for traffic on the sat footage and figure out where to send the special ops teams.

You also can't eliminate HAMAS without a ceasefire without completely and utterly razing the entire city and collapsing every tunnel, and I'm pretty sure that will not keep Israel safe, nor will Israel have the same level of support from the western world as before.

That wouldn't even work. The Hamas leaders are probably far away and very protected.

And if Israel kills everyone in Palestine, it's just going to create hatred in other countries. As Elon Musk said for every Hamas member killed there are three more created.

Oh, my goodness, you are correct. HAMAS isn't even headquartered in Gaza so all these posters bloodlusting for HAMAS destruction by bombing Gaza to dust are all sorely mistaken in very deeply embedded ways.

We don't know WHAT Israel is doing to hamas, unless you have inside info.

Otherwise, we're all spoon-fed from the same pot.

And depending on who's holding the spoon will depend on what you see and hear.

Actually 10 countries as well as those in Gaza do NOT recognize Israel as a sovereign nation.

There's someone who is constantly trolling, stop feeding the troll please. Everyone knows Israel has tons of Palestinian hostages that they are torturing and putting on the Internet, we all see it on IG. Everyone knows there was one Oct 7th, not over 30 Oct 7th's. Everyone knows Israel has been tormenting, bombing, etc Gaza for 75 years.

Don't know for sure, but can probably make good extrapolations syllogistically.

Countries have been at war a long time. Israel has rockets and missiles. Hamas knows this.
Hamas is hiding out in tunnels. Reasonable to assume they built them deep enough/ used existent cover.
It follows then, that Hamas leaders under duress would go to those tunnels.
With them in the tunnels, they are hard to hit.
Knowing this, Israel might resort to trying to starve them in the tunnels, hoping they give up and come out, or die down there.

I absolutely support your right to that opinion, however revolting I find it, because it is only an opinion and it is your right to hold it and express it freely.

I do hope you take something else away from this thread besides the ability to distinguish HAMAS militants from Palestinians.

I did.

Pages back.

Where you stand on Israel will also determine how you stand on their enemies.

It was rather illuminating.

Almost like there’s a country somewhere, not too long ago, didn’t like how they were being governed, and made a change….lots of bloodshed but I would argue it turned out for the better - it’s America if your that dense. Why haven’t the Palestinians removed the most detrimental government for their success yet? Hmmmm

In order to be a Zionist, I would have to believe that all the Israelis are descendants of God's chosen people, and I do not. Zionism is not where I stand on Israel. I do not stand on Israel.

You are still using the false equivalence fallacy, that if I do not declare myself as a Zionist, then I must be against, not only God's chosen people, but the state of Israel, as well.

I imagine these things your saying coming out of the mouths of the people who dress in suits and give politicians money and take them out to lunches and dinners in order to garner support for things the public will probably not like to hear about.

The term for this eludes me at the moment.

Zionism is simple this:

Zionism is the movement for the self-determination and statehood for the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, the land of Israel.

So you think Israel as a state should not exist. Correct?
