Nope. What 'data'?? There is no 'data' needed. There is no 'data' released. There are just the unbiased, independent, professional UK Police doing their job as they were trained to do, and as they have done many times before, and professionally counted the number of protestors using their resources. (Livecams, drones, people on the ground, etc etc).

His 'sources' were biased people, with a stated agenda being anti-Israel, without any training and without any resources just pulling a wishful thinking number out of their butts.

I just posted a link to the twitter #freepalestine washington DC protest with a title reading: hundreds of thousands...how are we to confirm that as true, as with any other source we choose to use? Is my problem here.

In a day or two the Park Service will release an official number of how many protesters were there. It will be arrived at by professionals who have training in how to do it, and who have done it many times before, and who have the resources to get the correct number. They were bused in from all over the country. I'm sure it'll be a big number.

Well, if you don't trust the trained professionals who have experience in this and the resources ... and who are non biased ... then that's on you. Send them an email or call them and ask if you want. I think you are being extreme .. but whatever ... do what you want.

I disagree on being extreme because through my experience in life it's always wise to check your sources and what may be their truth may not be the truth. I suppose it's my amateur sleuth personality or just my inquiring mind.

See now, were the protesters only within the Park Service jurisdiction or were the protesters in many jurisdictions? We don't know much now do we? Just making a point, there is no need to pursue this any further.

If they were on the National Mall they are in the Park Service jurisdiction and the official number will come from them. I remember when Donald Trump was at the Capitol Building giving his acceptance speech when elected and he gave a number of attendees, and the Park Service corrected him and gave a lower number and showed a picture from above of how many showed up at his speech.

See now I've read that people's viewing crowd numbers will always come up much less than actual numbers, so it's murky from all angles. If the Park Service used Jacob's method then the number can have an error factor of up to 30% is also what I read.

Yes there is. He made false accusations against the police and then claimed never to have spoken of the police. He stated there were 500,000 and then 300,000 protesters and provided his 'sources' as proof, but then his 'proof' is shown to be bunk. that's dishonesty.

That's your own arguments and it's based on an unsubstantiated assertion. You need proof before claiming the Police are unbiased and independent and that's why there number given by them is the correct one.

Presented as 'proof' that there were 500,000 people at this rally.

PROVE your 'sources' are unbiased, and professional, and know how to count crowds.

Source 1 - a muslim dude in India pulling the number 500,000 out of his butt because he has no access to crowd information and because he's biased.

Source 2 - a socialist anti-colonizing protester also with no access to crowd information and biased.

Source 3 - a socialist anti-colonizing rag with bias and agenda.

What statements? I didn't make any claim for the exact number given.

Someone is absolutely sure the number of protestors are 100,000 because the police said so. And why it's true? We've learnt that the police are unbiased and independent so we must accept it as gospel. If not then we should disprove the assertion made.
