suicide is suicide. Heroin addiction even without a purposeful overdose is suicide in slow motion.

Of course you cannot compare human suffering.

Why are some people able to Survive and escape addiction while others eventually make it over the tolerance line? Why do some people outgrow gender disphoria but not others? Probably the same answer.

I just look at suicide as an act of FREE WILL. If I had a child threatening suicide they would not be even 5 minutes out of my sight. but after an adult they are SOVEREIGN

Not my son, mine is out on his kayak fishing today, He knows he is a boy. And he is sober 100%. I hit the ganga but he is subject to testing while I'm retired and its legal. that drunk ex husband that got me into Alanon is still kicking up trouble too, last I heard.

But I still go to alanon as it helps me keep my head on square with crazies everywhere.

What these poor kids need is a spiritual program of some kind. And before you soil your diaper papa, I don't mean religious.

Opposite sex hormones, surgery, followed by a lifetime of hormones, possible cancer and other debilitating side effects is not going to make anyone want to live that truly doesn't want to.

The thing is, anyone who really and truly wants to commit suicide gets the job done.

its a good start and then the journey becomes individual.

I'm not talking about religion. I'm talking about spirit. The alive part of the person. Not the mental or physical being. We don't have a discipline to nourish the spiritual being but religion which has become a no-no along with family.

But that just means that more,and more of us are undernourished.

It definitely is not a treatment to use as a starting point. True spiritualization comes from maturation and understanding oneself and knowledge. Children can't yet grasp the fundamentals of spiritualism as I've known some adults that could not.

Well the psychological treatment comes first in all cases, so it's not that sad that these transkids are getting help and guidance. What will be the future treatments? That remains to be seen.

I’m just going to throw this out there…

Unless you are the parent of a transgender child, a doctor, researcher or other professional with credentials and experience in this field, have or have had a close relationship with someone that is trans or if you yourself are trans, a trans kid or former trans kid, then all you have are opinions and your feelz (obviously mostly gained from conservative pundits and news sources) and none of you really have a clue or understanding of the trans condition.

What I find even more amusing that for a conspiracy minded crowd that thinks they’re smarter than the average Joe or has inside and behind the scenes knowledge not covered by the MSM, how completely hoodwinked you are by bias confirming information and how like sheep you’ve been sucked into a fabricated culture war without even realizing how played you are.

It’s pretty sad really but carry on and I’ll apply Hanlon’s razor and “not attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity”.
