Transgender women banned from sports is one thing. Banned from chess! Now it's getting silly.

all you need to do is just read the news.

Maybe therein lies your problem...

Let's see how you interpret this paragraph from the OP BBC link none the less...

In its policy decision, FIDE also said that trans men who had won women's titles before transitioning would see their titles abolished.

Notice the tidbit of "before transitioning"?

To me that sounds like fully transitioned men will not be affected...

Just comon sense... Your no women you no play women chess, you women you play women chess.....
no one ever asked for birth certificate or dna as those are the only reliable methods to determine whether gender your born with.

Now I guess the liberty to choose your gender in your passport at will made some men take advantage of it, it's rarely those that fully transitioned that behave like the men that actually cause trouble.

It also forces institutions to accept the reality and adress the differences among the trans phenomenon.

You see how they use the appropriate language to adress the trsns phenomenon in a sensible way.

All you need to determine the difference between men and women is a set of eyes and an IQ above 70.

Hormones, surgeries and makeup doesn’t fool anyone.

I don't have to be a woman...what argument is this one?

Is it not enough the transgender ideology has been given a huge blow by chess?!
It's just shows men cannot just declare themselves to be women and expected to be taking part in women's sports and competitions or use females spaces.

The trans phenomenon should be treated from s sociological and psychiatric perspective. People who suffer from delusions must be treated accordingly with psychotherapy and not getting affirmed in their delusions.

Let me display part of my reply earlier

Civil rights and laws don't determine what a woman is or what a man is. Transwomen are men and hence by definition rejected in sports and female spaces. You need to get your head around this and the fact that the trans lobby has been defeated on many fronts

Transwomen are men and this can't change.

You can't choose your gender I am afraid. You are mistaken and have been living in denial for long. You can only pretend to be the other gender and change it only on paper. You can also (on paper) change species and claim you're an elephant.

Gender is determined by chromosomes.

Even chess has understood the differences between men and women and banned transwomen from female chess competitions.

Surgery and hormones don't do anything to your gender but they do harm you in the short and long terms.

Some people are still believing surgery and hormones will have an impact on someone's sex. It's the result of trans propaganda and failure of schools to throw out this nonsense from the educational sectors.

Sure, but can xy chromosomes become legal women?

Because I'm pretty sure those women dedicated spaces are legally not defined by chromosomes.

I wonder how are these spaces legally defined, do you know?

Well, if we looked at all the pro posts and articles on this subject then one defines what and who they are by what their inner feelings tell them and things like physical makeup are not a part of that. Like today I feel 80% female and 20% male, tomorrow I'm 90% male and 10% female. Or as I said before being a 6'5" Viking looking guy I'm going to identify as a Black female lesbian.

What this means is all gender/ethnicity/races/age etc is removed completely from everything. Unisex in everything we do with zero identifying processes in all aspects of one's life including job, school, sports, etc... At that point, it doesn't matter if biological women are pushed aside, or Blacks are pushed out of colleges as everyone is the same on paper.

The interesting part is all that seems to be the opposite of what we have been fighting to prevent in the last 150 years.

True.

The trans lobby wants to redefine everything to put transwomen in female sports and places, but it hasn't worked out for them.

And we keep asking where does it end as we see no end. Pronouns are a perfect example of no ending in sight. When will the 45 year old man identify as a 13 year old boy? Pedophiles are chomping at the bits to get their self-awareness normalized or just mixed in as everything is stirred up in one big pot.

We get this gender-fluid as one chooses daily what they are on a percentage scale, and people like Neil deGrasse Tyson who recently said why does it matter to others if a person today feels 80% female so dresses as a female and tomorrow feels 80% males and dress as a male?

It doesn't matter if that person lives in their own reality, but when they are pushed into mine and laws tell me I must accept it, or at work I must somehow role daily with whatever a person decides to be that day or it is an HR incident, or I must accept the fact that my bio female daughter gets hurt because a bio male crushes her since they feel 90% female that day, I think it really starts to matter...

It seems the trans lobby has been rejected in many settings. Sports for example is one of them.

There are a lot of differences between men and women, but the flavor of the month is we are all the same.

Knowing people that have tasted both...apparently, the things most likely to be tasted, taste very different.

It seems like only transvestites are affected by the ban not trans sexuals... Proof me wrong...

XY chromosomes will continue to compete against XX chromosomes. All that seems to matters is the gender in your documents.

The only one taking another blow is the trans phobes. I consider it logical that transvestites don't compete against women but women compete against women no matter their chromosomes.

No, as 'transwomen' have been banned from various sports and they're not competing anymore. This is a blow to the trans ideology and the trans lobby that wants to see men competing against women.
Better come to terms with reality than wasting your time online arguing nonsense.

There are no transsexuals btw. Hormones and butchering of body parts and genitalia doesn't change your sex.

Even chess has banned 'transwomen' from female competitions. Who would have thought this 3-4 years ago.

These arguments of yours fail at every level to address the topic. It seems difficult to you to absorb the latest developments in...chess.

Why dressed? What could they be hiding that would give the game away? Isn’t gender a state of mind after-all?

I thought it's all about the "gender" and not the sexual parts?

What is it now? You people lol, always twist it like it fits best into your world view.

As if transvestites and transexuals are somehow different.

They are, one just likes to dress up like women and that's all about it. The other one demands to be acknowledged as a woman and undergo medical procedures to achieve that (they think so, at least).

I know a full grown man that is heterosexual, has wife and children, dog and house. He just likes the feeling of the clothes and it's not sexual and do not really want to dress like a woman. It's a mix of not adhering to traditional thoughts about clothes and liking the feeling. Men that shave their bodies will know what he talks about. The sensation of soft silk on skin. Think about silk, you either like it or not, but there is not a lot of silk products for men.

On the other hand I myself dress in clothes that are more said to be masculine/male because in the shop and working, it is much more comfortable and also safe. If people would focus less on optics of clothes, that would be nice.

Just like the color pink and blue, it's a psychological thing that came external, not derived from the mind itself.

No one looks funny if I wear a Jeans, why can't we give men the same benefit of doubt? Traditional Scotts wear kilts, so why can't any other man wear a skirt? Please someone explain that to me, I just don't get it.

I meant in terms of their biological reality.

What your saying is true in terms of their behaviours. But both are men.

People shouldn't confuse gender and sex... Because they're the same, regardless of the attempts by the trans lobby to present in a different way.

That's why I asked. Because one time it is about gender and then it is about sex.

Their own confusion, not mine
