all you need to do is just read the news.
In its policy decision, FIDE also said that trans men who had won women's titles before transitioning would see their titles abolished.

Maybe therein lies your problem...
Let's see how you interpret this paragraph from the OP BBC link none the less...

Notice the tidbit of "before transitioning"?
To me that sounds like fully transitioned men will not be affected...
Just comon sense... Your no women you no play women chess, you women you play women chess.....
no one ever asked for birth certificate or dna as those are the only reliable methods to determine whether gender your born with.
Now I guess the liberty to choose your gender in your passport at will made some men take advantage of it, it's rarely those that fully transitioned that behave like the men that actually cause trouble.
It also forces institutions to accept the reality and adress the differences among the trans phenomenon.
You see how they use the appropriate language to adress the trsns phenomenon in a sensible way.
Civil rights and laws don't determine what a woman is or what a man is. Transwomen are men and hence by definition rejected in sports and female spaces. You need to get your head around this and the fact that the trans lobby has been defeated on many fronts

All you need to determine the difference between men and women is a set of eyes and an IQ above 70.
Hormones, surgeries and makeup doesn’t fool anyone.

Sure, but can xy chromosomes become legal women?
Because I'm pretty sure those women dedicated spaces are legally not defined by chromosomes.
I wonder how are these spaces legally defined, do you know?

Well, if we looked at all the pro posts and articles on this subject then one defines what and who they are by what their inner feelings tell them and things like physical makeup are not a part of that. Like today I feel 80% female and 20% male, tomorrow I'm 90% male and 10% female. Or as I said before being a 6'5" Viking looking guy I'm going to identify as a Black female lesbian.
What this means is all gender/ethnicity/races/age etc is removed completely from everything. Unisex with everything and zero identifying processes with everything including job, school, sports, etc... At that point, it doesn't matter if biological women are pushed aside, or Blacks are pushed out of colleges as everyone is the same on paper.
The interesting part is all that seems to be the opposite of what we have been fighting to prevent in the last 150 years.

The trans lobby wants to redefine everything to put transwomen in female sports and places, but it hasn't worked out for them.

And we keep asking where does it end as we see no end. Pronouns are a perfect example of no ending in sight. When will the 45 year old man identify as a 13 year old boy? Pedophiles are chomping at the bits to get their self-awareness normalized or just mixed in as everything is stirred up in one big pot.
We get this gender-fluid as one chooses daily what they are on a percentage scale, and people like Neil deGrasse Tyson who recently said why does it matter to others if a person today feels 80% female so dresses as a female and tomorrow feels 80% males and dress as a male?
It doesn't matter if that person lives in their own reality, but when they are pushed into mine and laws tell me I must accept it, or at work I must somehow role daily with whatever a person decides to be that day or it is an HR incident, or I must accept the fact that my bio female daughter gets hurt because a bio male crushes her since they feel 90% female that day, I think it really starts to matter...

It seems like only transvestites are affected by the ban not trans sexuals... Proof me wrong...
XY chromosomes will continue to compete against XX chromosomes. All that seems to matters is the gender in your documents.
The only one taking another blow is the trans phobes. I consider it logical that transvestites don't compete against women but women compete against women no matter their chromosomes.

I give you a picture with 100 dressed humans and you have to tell me their chromosomes if you fail on one you are blind and dumb...
Wanna try?

I thought it's all about the "gender" and not the sexual parts?
What is it now? You people lol, always twist it like it fits best into your world view.

They are, one just likes to dress up like women and that's all about it. The other one demands to be acknowledged as a woman and undergo medical procedures to achieve that (they think so, at least).
I know a full grown man that is heterosexual, has wife and children, dog and house. He just likes the feeling of the clothes and it's not sexual and do not really want to dress like a woman. It's a mix of not adhering to traditional thoughts about clothes and liking the feeling. Men that shave their bodies will know what he talks about. The sensation of soft silk on skin. Think about silk, you either like it or not, but there is not a lot of silk products for men.
On the other hand I myself dress in clothes that are more said to be masculine/male because in the shop and working, it is much more comfortable and also safe. If people would focus less on optics of clothes, that would be nice.
Just like the color pink and blue, it's a psychological thing that came external, not derived from the mind itself.
No one looks funny if I wear a Jeans, why can't we give men the same benefit of doubt? Traditional Scotts wear kilts, so why can't any other man wear a skirt? Please someone explain that to me, I just don't get it.
