Are you joking? Musk is driving Twitter into the ground. Firing so many technicians and software experts that keep it running properly was a catastrophically bad idea. He then tried to rehire some of them when he realised just how bad he'd screwed up. Twitter's share price is collapsing, people are leaving it in droves, Musk can't seem to stop the bleeding or provide an ounce of leadership, right wing nutjobs are not being moderated... where do you want me to stop?

Elon fired the woke staff who created a number of problems for the platform and its reputation. It's much better now than it was under the old admin where scientists and teachers had their accounts suspended for stating facts or question dogmas and official narratives. I know it bothers you but Twitter is no more woke.

threads is the glorified echo chamber twitter was hence the attraction for so many, but the thing is its like the psychology behind why they hate women meeting talking and organising.. the fear of what is being said outside the echo chamber is going to drive them nuts and create an interesting dynamic to watch going forward..

Most of these articles recycle the same piece of news which is highly misleading because they don't make the distinctions on before and after the takeover by Musk.

You shouldn't trust media having an interest in scoring against Musk. I remember CNN the guardian and some other left wing papers arguing men can get pregnant and give birth.

Twitter was never actually worth 44 billion to begin with. Not really sure why Elon paid that much, but their true valuation was not 44 billion dollars. He had to pay a premium to become, in effect, the sole owner.

another way of looking at it is that its evolving into 2 churches.. roman catholic type filled with virtue signallers vs protestant reformers, this is very much transubstantiation.. the idea that with a few magical words you can transform one thing into another..

the rights and free expression you think of is an evolution of that previous conflict..

the problem i have is that in creating these 2 sides the natural outcome as before is they come into conflict with each other, and that gets closer by the day..
