If this is true, is everyone ready for the threads blaming this revolt directly on the US?

I know one member that will be framing it that way 🙃

was checking out this video from your link. it appears to me russians are stupid. in that if i was a civilian and saw tanks that i know are there to fight against the government rollin through town. i damn sure wouldn't be standing on the street corner with my thumb up my ass watching. i'd be watchin from some cover somewhere, don't never know when the shootin is gonna start or who might decide they want to shoot me. both sides aren't known for their concern over collateral casualties.

The hell, Prig's going Full Paarthurnax against Alduin here?

As much as I kinda hoped for it, I wasn't actually expecting a 180. Wow

LOL I know weird right?

This started with the decree for all military to sign under the Russian MOD, it had to simmer awhile, and yes, we won't know where this will boil over.

Hard to understate how insane this is. Rostov has over a million people, Russia's 11th most populated city and a military hub. It's like disgruntled Blackwater vets seizing San Diego against little to no resistance.

Something I'm wondering about is the 25k number. At the start of the Ukraine war, Wagner was projected as being 50k strong. So it's the another 25k deployed somewhere else? Or has Wagner lost half their manpower in Ukraine?

Ii think they are still said to have units in Africa, other parts of Ukraine, and I’d assume some in the pipeline of training and or onboarding.

Having 25k for quick deployment is actually really impressive if their total numbers are 50k.

isn't the entire (logistically) war in ukraine mostly supplied by the rostov area rail lines/hub? and does not the bulk of russian gas come in via the Caspian pipelines to just about the area Wagner is supposed to be occupying? i mean if he can hold them for a bit its pretty good for ukraine ,but for russia? isnt this like grid lock level for the russian economy?

Would have been better if it was made to fruition about 1.5 years ago.

Not if NATO started pushing resources into Ukraine. Which wasn't happening...till we found out it was.

I was just chewing on an egg roll and had a horrible thought.....What if that's not Chicken??
No actually worse than that, what if this is a ruse to get the Ukrainians' out of position?
Stage a fake retreat, Ukraine advances and then turn around and attack.

I know not actually possible given the complete and utter lack of a
single strategic thought by the Russians in this entire war.
Either way this may put an end to any attempts to continue the Ukraine war for a while.

Probably not. But Russia signed the same memorandum we did vowing to protect Ukrainian sovereignty. Pretty shortsighted of them to think we wouldn’t take the opportunity to help weaken the eastern sphere of influence.

We were arming them before 2022 as well.

Hearing Prighozin saying 25,000 prepared to die, is what caught my attention,

To be fair, they were already prepared to die in Ukraine.

From what I’ve gathered, Wagner claims they were hit by Russian munitions because they didn’t adhere to Russian MOD demands for Wagner troops to join the Russian army. This wouldn’t have been the first time they alleged the Russian military has attacked them, though it would be the first it appears it came from the top (if the claims are true).

So, their perception may be they’ve been hung out to dry in Ukraine and attacked by their own country. Wouldn’t be hard to motivate soldiers already on frontlines to do a quick coup.

All of this is speculation though, but I imagine we’ll know very soon how serious the situation is.

Respectfully they aren't in Ukraine, if this true, unless there is an uprising in support, they signed their death warrants or a one-way ticket to Siberia
