Yeah, let’s lose Crimea so the majority of the population there being millions of ethnic Russians getting exposed to AZOV.

Smart idea.

Well, considering they are living in houses that used to be occupied by Ukrainians until they were forced to leave, one could consider it justice, eh?

Khrushchev gifted Crimea to Ukraine years after WW2. The majority of the population there was Ethnic Russian for a long time and you know it.

So now you advocating Nazi Azov militia (which even pro Zelensky supporters recognize as such, and even banned from U.S. and then unbanned years ago)

As justice on the citizens in Crimea?

AZOV is getting f#cked. With or without this Prigozhin BS.

What about the 40% of the population that was not ethnic Russian and aligned with Ukraine when Russia invaded and took it over? Have you ever read up on Crimea's history? Very interesting read. It seems during the USSR the Russians decided that they were descendants of the Greeks and Crimea was their starting point, so the USSR made it into their own Mount Olympus and then removed all the indigenous people that had been living there for 1000s of years and made it 100% Russian.

To be seen. Wagner t-gram channel just issued a hot statement that condemned Putin's rule.

Cheers

I think you have "AZOV" on the brain Imhere.

Show us all on the doll where Azov Brigade touched you personally?

As to who is getting "f#cked", well who is losing ground?

That would be Russia once again slowly but surely would it not?

Prigozhin began by calling out the generals of the Russian MOD.

The MOD then demanded that Prigozhin's Wagner group "register" under their command. Prigozhin refused.

Putin then sided with the MOD generals.

The MOD then, according to Prigozhin, launched an air attack against Wagner fighters.

Prigozhin (understandably) gets pissed, heads for "tete-a-tete" with Putin and generals in Moscow.

Putin calls Prigozhin a traitor.

Russian regular military is left dumbfounded.

Russian government jets begin leaving Moscow.

If Prigozhin is stopped, Russia will lose its premier military force. A bad place to be while in the middle of a war. Additionally, Prigozhin's defeat will likely require the expenditure of extraordinary force, which cannot be achieved without the obvious recognition that the current Russian regime is more than willing to employ such measures, against its own citizens, on its own home territory. To the average Russian citizen, the question arises "Am I next?".

If Prigozhin is successful, the generals who opposed him will, of course, be removed (with "prejudice"?). But will Putin remain?

Having turned against him, calling him a traitor, would Prigozhin allow Putin to remain in power? Replacing Putin would lay lie to Prigozhin's claim that this is not a "coup". But allowing him to remain would be an unnecessary risk.

And would Putin acquiesce to a "figurehead" leadership position under the control (and at the whim) of Prigozhin?

And what of the Russian nukes? Could Putin, maybe, launch one against Wagner (hoping to catch Prigozhin), and then claim that it was Prigozhin's forces themselves, in an act of treasonous terrorism....or tragic stupidity?

And where are the Russian "boomers"? What "degree of independence" do their commanders employ? How are they likely to side?

So many questions!

Think it's time to open the Good booze.

In the 1991 referendum the majority of Crimea voted to be independent from Russia.

In fact every region of Ukraine voted the same.

It's also a matter of fact that in an open and transparent referendum in 1991, the majority of residents in Crimea voted to be part of a sovereign and independent Ukrainian state.

Since Russia illegally occupied and annexed Crimea in 2014, there has been ethnic cleansing of those who have not supported the new minority regime. The Ukrainians have been back-filled by Russians, from Russia. This is what Russia have been doing for generations in land they occupy. If you don't know this, then you have a blinkered view of history.

Then why was Zelensky making fun of the citizens in Crimea about water shortage as a comedian in 2015?

I suppose you also consider the sham referendums Putin held to be legally binding and ratified?

Despite the fact that it's logistically impossible to hold a fair and free referendum in an active warzone that Russia only held partial sway over.

Wagner mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin has agreed to "stop" the movement of his troops who are advancing on the Russian capital, according to a statement carried by the Reuters news agency and attributed to the Belarussian president's office.

We will bring you more updates shortly.

I wonder if Belarus have offered a neutral venue for a meeting between Shoigu and Prigozhin , that was his stated aim for the move into Russia.

Your thoughts on Zelensky in 2015 making fun of the citizens in Crimea suffering from water shortages when he was a “comedian”?
