You hit the nail on the head. In many cases this isn't the child, it is the parents. Look at these Hollywood clowns who are trying to make themselves relevant and get brownie points by raising their child as "gender neutral".

My Great Niece thought that she was Gay when she was twelve. It wasn't because of anything her parents did, it was peer pressure. We talked about it and I told her that it was too early to make that decision. Wait and see what happens. She turns fifteen next Sunday and is boy crazy.

Technically, a business doesn't HAVE to hire anyone, however that is unrealistic.

The only time I've ever encountered a dude in a dress and makeup at work was a Target cashier. And it just a few weeks before they made their bathrooms coed.

I didn't care even a little bit about the cashier. But since I won't feel safe in Target should I have to go, I don't go to Target. I havent been in a Target since, and I use to go all the time. Amazon is easier anyway.

In several discussions on such topics the question was asked, “why weren’t we warned?” My response now is we were but we ignored them. I ignored them too. businesses already do.. one of the key planks of recruitment beyond best skill fit is "best cultural fit" you don't recruit who doesn't fit into your company and that is true in all cultures/tribes/groups.. big corps try to be blind to that but even they fall down when the process moves to face/2/face interviews, best fit always wins out.

i would suggest in hr circles right now the bigger discussions revolve more around therians than trans (like punks and goths before them things have already moved forward) as it brings the clash between the pronoun and neo pronoun groups into work place and turning it all into a farce..

That's what I was meaning with what I had said.

They don't need a right to do that, if someone doesn't "fit the bill", then don't hire them.

When I worked for a small town rental shop, we had many people come in asking for a job and if you didn't know basic small engine repair or even how to use a computer, you didn't get the job. That's not discrimination, that's just good business.

I'm not saying that discrimination is not a real thing, it most certainly is, but most things that people call discrimination anymore isn't. Being turned down for a job you aren't qualified for is most definitely one of those that people "cry wolf" over.

people talk of the perfect job as perfect fit.. but neglect to consider that from an employers perspective best fit is more than the skills a person brings, who employs a person they think will disrupt their business or team and cost them time/business/money.

the interview question "Why would you be a good fit for this position?" as it folds in one of the important elements of good job hunting, have you read up on the company do you know what they are about, their ethos, their culture and can you explain beyond your skills why you are the piece of the puzzle they are missing, its the bit that generally gets your foot in the door and secures the job..

shame many kids today are not taught that part of job hunting and think it is just down to ticking skills boxes and it costs them their chance..

But if they lack the skills/knowledge to do the job they are being hired for then they are not the "perfect fit".

Anyone can be conformed to fit into almost any environment but if you want a job as a nuclear physicist and have no knowledge of the subject but are a great "team player", guess what, you aren't going to get the job.

There is no constitutional right for a man to parade naked in front of women and girls. Precedent has been established over the course of the country's history that localities have the right to make laws preventing such behavior.

There are no laws preventing transwomen from using women's locker rooms even though in your mind these laws exist.

But transwomen are men so they have no place in women's locker rooms.
