I have three school aged children. This has never happened to mine, nor any others of the parents I know. Did this happen to yours ? If people commit crimes like child abuse they should be punished, but what do the numbers actually say ? Is this actually about "the kids" ? Let's take your hypothetical may-or-may-not-have-happened-anywhere scenario:

"Johnny, you know, you may be a little girl. Johnny, it is possible for you to not be a little boy or a little girl."

Is this child abuse ?

What about:

Little Johnny, if you misbehave, when you die you are going to hell to be tortured for eternity

Is this also child abuse ?

Instead we have a push for non-emotive...sterile...guarded...speak which has as much inflection as AI's conversing with each other...


I used to approach my conversing on this site by attempting to use humor and poking a little fun...ribbing...like real people do when conversing...like friends do...like family does...

EVERYTHING must be used to Deny Ignorance.

Responsible posting AND reading is all that is needed because we need the biggest pot of energy possible to fuel ourselves either from the individual perspective or the collective one. We just need to be sensible with what our pot has for ingredients by reinforcing personal responsibility for the incoming influences.

Why does jonny know he is a boy? What does being a boy mean to Johnny? He barely knows what being jonny means. All he knows for sure is he has a penis, and others don't...

Everything else he got indoctrinated by his parents and society. The mental stress comes from having to process conflicting information. It produces mental stress in everyone, but don't worry, kids are very good at it, better than adults, and they mostly choose the less divisive one.

If it was about pedos I'm sure we could find plenty of groups that have a higher amount of them in it and with a much more extensive track record. So why are kids so in danger from a fringe group, when we have mainstream doing the same.
Where do you tow the moral line to get outraged at what is done to minors?
Because try and broaden the accusations slightly and you'll see the doublestandards.
It's not about the well-being of kids, our society would look very diffrent if it was, it's about personal issues.
The kids are just used to justify an unequally applied hate, which means the hate is not because of the kids, but because of something else.

It's mostly fear. what exactly one is affraid off, could be a plethora if things.

Access to children for starters.

It's one thing when ideology targets grown adults, but here you have an ideology that is unescapably se ual in nature targeting children who are the least sexual,most innocent of all of us. Changing a person's sex before they even fully understand what that is is a rape on very, very deep level, and here you have not just activists, but agents of the state itself invested in that.

Also.

Perhaps rather than getting rid of a forum it would be more beneficial to have a "rolling" version of some forums that are updated to provide a clarified and concentrated source of knowledge with fewer distractions.

With this in mind when posting, the focus on "quality" benefits from the human subconscious that would not invite negativity naturally perhaps.

And it can't be "censorship" to remove information if the only other consideration would be "nothing" which by definition cannot "create" anything?

As I said earlier, a number of members are not feeling comfortable when their narratives, beliefs, and ideologies are exposed and so you see how they try to control what will be discussed and under what conditions. It's not rocket science.

Controlling platforms through censorship and misinformation-disinformation when at the same time appealing to emotions and accuse everyone else who doesn't subscribe to their ideology. It's something very common and seen in other platforms. Apart from twitter.

That's what happens when one has zero valid arguments.

I will put your question next to my real story. Their is a daughter of a friend that I am fairly close to. Her Mother was a tomboy. She was the only girl in a family of four boys, and being the baby, she was in constant competition with her brother.

Along comes her daughter that is the baby in the family of three boys. Story repeats it self. She too was a tomboy and in constant competition with her brothers. She goes off to middle school, and she is told that she did not have to hide who she really was, and that she should be proud to be a boy.

I cannot tell you the confusion, the depression, the insecurity, and the self loathing that this poor child has gone through. Her Mother could not help her because her daughter was convinced that there was no way her mother could possibly understand.

Best thing the Mother could have done was to confide in another mother that seemed to always have a a house full of the neighborhood kids. That mother did not miss a beat. She invited the daughter to a cook out and showed that child that she did not have to be anything but a child and to have fun in the process. It has been about six months and I barely recognize that child now.

She did the same thing with another young child that always looked miserable. That child never smiled, and was very standoffish, and quiet. I can usually get children to talk and to at least smile, but not this one. Again, she worked magic, that child is always smiling and talks a plenty,

I told her that I had noticed the magic that she had worked on so many of our community children. She thanked me. She is a teacher, and she said the children are her life and purpose in this world. Now don't think for a second that she is one of those adults that are push overs and just want to be the cool Mom in the neighborhood, because she does not play, and she has some strict rules that those kids have to adhere to, but they do, and you can tell they are genuinely happy.

I can't speak for anyone else, but what they did at that school to that child, to me was criminal, even if they didn't mean to, they did abuse that child.

I found ATS after 911, as a child. Made an account a few years later only to banned after presumably saying something a mod didnt agree with, after a single infraction. I came back much later with an SSO account but this site's SSO integration is still broken, so new account.
