We made some progress here.

You teach your kids what's right; the other poster does the same. This seems to establish it as a parental function.

So why are teachers doing it, and overriding both of you with what the state prefers? Aren't they supposed to teach reading, writing, 'rithmetic ... you know things kids have a hard time getting out of schools these days?

Reading your *checks notes* 5 posts I bet every conversation with your kids is difficult for them.

The Government may decide what is to be taught in schools, deciding it's ok for schools to teach the existence of 72 genders and sex change. These decisions are obviously going to be criticised online on forums that allow conversations and don't censor them.

There's always been a curriculum. Always. If a teacher tells my kid some outrageous # that I don't want them exposed to, that's between that teacher and I and handle that the way I see fit. When we first moved to the current area, my oldest did not mesh well with any of the teachers or the administration (autism). We pulled him out and home schooled for 2 years. End. No activism required. No latching onto an identity and blaming said identity for my problems with the individual.

If you're active in your kid's education then you don't actually have to fear 'the trans agenda' or anything

10 or 15 years ago we could replace "trans___" with "gay" and be having the exact same conversation. What's your solution? Conversion camps?
