I have not seen one actual scientific study that suggests anything different from what we know.

What I have seen is articles and opinions.
Science is not biased. Scientists can be and are, as they are human.

Don't you know that men and women are cultural labels based on societal roles?! As it was claimed by one member.

Or that the brain tells you who you are.
It could tell you that you are a carrot but that's fine as it's part of your identity

Or that intersex is a third sex.

Or that there are men who get pregnant and give birth.

Or that hormones, chemical castration, and removal of genitals can lead to happiness and prosperity.

Perhaps you are not 'following the new science'

Yesterday I made one about the significant rise in excess deaths seen in the UK and Worldwide. Another two three threads have appeared in the pat few days.

I feel the same way 100%. I have nothing against trans people but the agenda is crystal clear. However, the agenda is also to paint sites like this as "hate sites". It has nothing to do with trans, it has to do with vaccines because they want to create a narrative that "anti-vaxxers" are "hate groups" who are "anti-trans". We're an unregulated platform so this would be an uncontrolled source where people can say the word vaccine without getting flagged and even more so they can get facts about the vaccine. So it makes sense why they would try to paint communities like ATS that way.

I think everyone on ATS is aware that of the LGBTQ movement and how they are brainwashing kids. It's just an echo chamber when it comes to that. I think liberals come here acting like right-wingers and post outlandish # just to take screenshots and share it with others "look here is a hate site".

To me, the most important info is vaccine truth. That's what's affecting people right now on a day to day basis. Whether it's non-vaxced people having to protect themselves against shedding or vaxxed people trying to figure out how to deal withn the side effects or who want to share the side effects they're experiencing, or if they need verifiable data to convince their loved ones NOT to get it. That issue is WAY more important then gender issues that are just repeated over and over and over again.

I said this in another thread. NO ONE EVER points the finger at the organization and businesses who are allowing all of this to happen. I keep asking myself why and all I can come up with is "useful idiots" or "agenda driven".

Those are my thoughts anyway.

BTW= we were talking about getting rid of the political forums all together. It's all just a puppet show anyway. But, I don't know if we want to go that far but it will definitely help focus the info on the board to things that can actually HELP people.

I don't want to ban any topics (and we won't) but I can eliminate forums that are about certain topics leaving no place to talk about that subject, or create a forum for that topic that is logged-in users only.

Attempt to divert as always shifting the conversation from the claims made in the name of the transgender ideology and the criticisms of this ideology and the trans activists to 'targeting a single group'. Classical attempt.

Sometimes is due to the fact that people are getting bored and another significant factor is the lack of good opposition arguments from those who are not ideologically invested in vaccines. Because those who are emotionally and ideologically invested cannot provide good arguments but rather stuck in the idea that everyone must be vaccinated regardless of the short, medium, and long term effects of these products and regardless of the benefit to risk ratio for all age groups. It's another ideology I am afraid.

Why is the trans topic being singled out?
It is not the only topic where the offending behavior occurs. They just happen to be at the top of the list this week. The topic du jour.

Months of, Orange man is bad, Biden is a criminal, with early Alzheimer's, Black people are all gun touting, thieves, that should be placed on an isolated island, Asian people are all spies, that should be in prison or sent packing.

It will be very hard to find any thread in ATS, that goes over 6 pages that does not have this same theme running through it.

So why is the trans issue the straw that broke the camel's back?

I am all for making ATS a better forum for civil discourse, I am just curious about why the trans issue is the explanation for the changes.

There are far more groups of people that have been dogged, vilified, outright hated, because of the color of their skin or ethnicity, and for a far longer period of time on ATS, so why were they over looked and the trans issue is the issue that sudden makes us look deplorable?

I think you need to increase the forums and the threads so members can learn and debate more. A proper debate area will be great and an area where science, mathematics, and engineering can be discussed, and where scientific papers can be shared and analysed. I know there is a science and technology forum already.

The OP has made this thread I believe for this reason as they find it difficult to debate when people criticise the transgender ideology.

Maybe a forum called sexuality. That would cover a lot of bases. I was going to say call it modern sexuality but trans has been around for a very long time, celebrated by some cultures.

You could make it for logged in users too.
