However, what concerns me is the vastly increased R number of this variant. An R of 20 is hugely bigger than anything we’ve experienced in the west. It could well be a comparatively overnight wave. With even a small percentage of them needing hospital treatment it will fill wards and corridors in the blink of an eye.

This isn’t about mortality rates, it’s about such sudden increases triggering draconian measures (along with greasing the wheels that pump money from the public coffers into private hands

I can understand that and agree, a high R number which is the transmission rate can be troublesome if the mortality or hospitalization rate is up in conjunction. Here in the US we still hve a high case rate but the seriousness of cases is pretty low.

It's allmost 2023 now and they still push with the vaccines.

I haven't been asked since early 2021.
I'm not paranoid enough to suspect they keep tabs that are good enough to say "Ray refuses vaccines let's not offer him any more" surely they'd push more with such tabs? Idk.

All I know is I'm not harassed about vaccine status nor are they pushed at me. I must assume it's the same for every UK citizen who aren't actively working with the vulnerable. When they do work with vulnerable people it'll be the work place that considers it a requirement. Rightfully so tbh.

It was predictable. It's a respiratory virus. We were never going to get rid of it, and it would follow a predictable pattern, and it has. China also engaged in some of the harshest measures trying to control it.

What are we seeing in the US among kids, who suffered the most from our efforts to curb it? We're seeing a high outbreak of respiratory illness because they were sheltered from it for so long.

I predict that what we're seeing China is the same - a wave of increased illness caused by China's efforts to eradicate something you can't eradicate. What you can do is isolate and weaken the human immune system by sheltering it from having to work just like you can weaken the human body by making it a couch potato.

You're data isn't showing that the vax is ineffective, it's showing that it's less effective for elderly people with one or more co-morbidity.

Covid deaths among pretty much every other group are negligable.

If these globalist elites talk about doing these things, if the UN is intent on implementing Agenda 2030, we all meet to pay attention. Covid was used as an excuse to help along a transition, climate change is another excuse.

The future is a technocratic dictatorship of total control by TPTB, you won’t own anything and you’ll be happy because things will get a whole lot worse before they get better again.

You're life must be pretty different from mine. As far as "living" goes the main effect was that my gym shut down for 3 months, and then reopened socially distanced, with a short break over the winter due to fears about Omicron.

Things have been more or less back to normal here since early 2021.

Then again, we vaxxed hard and early. So pretty much everything else quickly became irrelevant.

I guess that the take-away from this is that if you'd vaxxed like we did there would be no need for other restrictions. My government ditched them as soon as it thought that it could get away with it, because it through that getting the economy back on track was far more important than any form of control over the populace.

Not to speak for ketsuko, as they are perfectly capable, but you know exactly what they are alluding to.

Lockdown, restrictions, safe distancing masking all have been shown to have limited effect. Thus if our government deems it necessary to do this again, they have likely doomed us as well.

Anecdotally it will kill our industry, we are operating at 20% of our normal volume its increasing but shutdown till Spring Summer would cripple any chance at recovery and we will need more assistance than the lousy 600 bucks we got for 2 years of shutdowns.

Hell it could happen if China shuts down and doesnt ship the product our customers have already ordered.

Yes, due to ‘vaxxing’ you will now have a new ‘flu’ every year. You are correct in your understanding of how the immune system is compromised by the mRNA shot. And yes, this will now happen every year to the test subjects that continue to be a part of the experiment.

The problem is that they have already completed their plan.

They already have enough people that believe in their product, so they will keep lining up every two to three months for the next 20 years to guarantee them a profit.

For the resistance, most will probably die off because we are old folks already on the downside of the clock, so they will just paint us off as dodgy, senile, old farts.

They want the young folk. Those young malleable, chemically prepped, TikTok brains.

Oh, and historically, we have done a piss poor job of learning from our mistakes.

Unless the world is on a complete lockdown, I don't think it would be that hard to circumvent the direct route to entry, to any place they are allowing foreigners to enter.

To be honest. I had the option to refuse to provide care during the lock down. But I figured I had spent enough years in gowns, gloves, and masks, providing care, when dealing with some bad boy organisms, so if those fellows were bad enough to get by my PPE, then it didn't make sense to think anyone was safe anywhere, outside of an containment unit.

So, I kept seeing patients and I am glad I did.

I haven't had COVID, a cold, the flu, or RSV. I think my immune system was boosted by frequent exposure, early in the game.

Now that some people are still getting COVID more than twice, it makes me think it could be the result of their immune systems just not kicking in.

The body is lazy. It is well known to shut down functions that it believes to be redundant. Stop walking for an extended period of time, and you will find the simple act of just standing up to be difficult. Same if you stop eating for an extended period of time, you will see after a while the body will not send signals of hunger, and will eventually, reject anything you attempt to consume.

Taking numerous vaccines over an extended period of time, seems a fool's folly.

That is just me.
