Moderna had not brought a single thing to market before The Rona and the EA, and was on the ropes.

HTF did they manufacture all of these jabs just like that? Forget the 1 hour programming based on DNA they got from China issue, how the hell did they set up to manufacture this to scale just like that, given they hadn't manufactured a thing of this mRNA ilk before?

Scaling is a thing, and scaling within the rules, regulations, sterile this and quality control that, isn't easy. Worse, those jabs had to be kept at specific temps = shipping, storage, testing, quality control and on and on.

So they scaled from zero to 800m!!!

800m over 365 days with a few months lead time left over from 2020?

Moderna went from never having sold an mRNA product, to having the capacity to mfg, test, quality control samples, ship 800m in a few weeks? Where did the equipment come from? The labor? The packages [they save on inserts sure]?

Someone did the math on all the jabs vs hours to produce, the numbers were impossible to reconcile as believable.

The numbers only make sense if the tin foil hat squeezes really tight IMO.

This is probably paranoia on my part but when a bipartisan group gets together to start to scrutinize foreign buyers of U.S. farmland it feels like the game of toss the hot potato. No one party to blame.
Reading through the proposed legislation it is targeted around foreign investors, targeting China. Not one word about Billy the farmer and his plans around his agri purchases.
