Some of it is psychological targeting of the Russian population in Crimea, as in, "Moscow doesn't call the shots here now ... we do"

Cheers

The interesting part is Ukraine is targeting Military assets and Russia in response is just launching rockets at the general Ukraine population.

Apparently that strike on Black Sea Fleet HQ was timed to take place when a meeting of high rankers was taking place.

Right, look at the difference in the media reports. CNN reports that Ukraine says it killed dozens of leaders in that attack, and the retired general analyst thinks the boost to Ukraine's morale and the damage to Russia's morale resulting from the attack may be significant, though apparently only a limited number of Russians actually know what happened since state-controlled Russian media reports are not accurate.

Russian media reports "one soldier missing" in the same attack, quite the contrast to Ukraine's "dozens killed"! Ukrainian intelligence reported 34 Russians killed and injured in the attack. This story talks about how the air defenses were activated, and apparently they thought they were protected by air defenses. I think Russian air defenses did shoot down some missiles, possibly aerial drones and modified anti-ship missiles, possibly as part of a plan to overcome Russian air defenses. After that, the storm shadow missiles came in hit the HQ. I think Storm shadows are designed to be more effective at evading air defenses, so even if Russia tries to shoot them down, they usually don't succeed.

The analyst commenting on that story I don't think gets that the Russian air defenses did shoot down some missiles before the storm shadow missiles came in and hit the HQ. But still you can see what a bogus story that Russian media is presenting on the RT channel, claiming that the strike on the Russian HQ is no big deal and the target had no value.

23 September Update

Ukrainian forces are deepening their penetration in Zaporizhia Oblast and are assaulting Novoprokopivka – a frontline village 1.5 km immediately south of Robotyne.

Ukrainian Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) Head Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov stated that Ukrainian forces achieved their objective of pinning Russian forces in Bakhmut and preventing their transfer to other areas of the theater – such as southern Ukraine – in a September 22 interview.

A Ukrainian intelligence chief stated that the September 22 Ukrainian strike on the Russian Black Sea Fleet (BSF) Command headquarters in Sevastopol injured senior Russian commanders.

Russian forces conducted a series of missile and drone strikes against Ukraine on the night of September 22 to 23. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces destroyed 14 of 15 Shahed-131/136 drones and that Russian forces launched four missiles.

Targetting wounded soldiers, and/or soldiers surrendering, could be a war crime. You have to judge whether the drone operator could clearly see this person was wounded to be sufficiently out of commission, because he was quite mobile. I have to say I only watched a short bit of the video, as I am not one to watch this type of thing.

Do You Want the Front Line Low Down on What is REALLY Going on in the Russia-Ukraine War? Ex-US Marine, ex-Florida Deputy Sheriff John Mark Dougan Reports From Russia Jul 25, 2023

Links to a 1 hour interview on Brighteon and is more about how Russia is holding up on that side of the conflict.

Is doing much better on the economic front and does not have the inflation issues of the West. Lot of demand and investment going on with China with the automobile sector. Thinks are progressing well with Brics and gradually gaining more international support. For now Russia is sitting back as Joe tries to buy his way out of this mess. The media frenzy around the Wagner breakup was a good psyop to get Russian troops into Belarus and a quick jump from Kiev.

For someone who fled The US in 2016 ( Dougan ) for political asylum in Russia, would you really expect him to say anything negative about his new home country ?

I would bet that The Kremlin even gave him the script.

So many lies. First the inflation: if Russia doesn't have inflation issues, then why do they say they do, and why did they say trying to lower inflation is the reason they've raised interest rates to astronomical levels of 13%?

Russia Raises Interest Rates to 13% Amid Inflation Concerns

Well of course with interest rates at such a high level, inflation should not be a problem. But Russia is obviously lying about why they raised interest rates that high, and it's not because of inflation, it's because the value of the ruble has dramatically fallen to such low levels that they are trying such desperate measures as 13% interest rates to keep it from falling any further. This is not the reason Russia gives, it's the real reason obtained though analysis:

Russian central bank jacks up rates to 12% to support battered rouble

Though stopping the rot, analysts largely agreed that the move would not have a long-lasting impact.

"As long as the war continues it just gets worse for Russia, the Russian economy and the rouble,"said Timothy Ash, senior EM sovereign strategist at Bluebay Asset Management.

"Hiking policy rates won’t solve anything - they might temporarily slow the pace of depreciation of the rouble at the price of slower real GDP growth - unless the core problem, the war and sanctions are resolved."

"The media frenzy around the Wagner breakup was a good psyop to get Russian troops into Belarus and a quick jump from Kiev. "

Please explain what you or your video mean by that, it doesn't make any sense to me. Do you know that in February 2022, Russia already had troops in Belarus and launched them toward Kyiv in the early days of the invasion? Since then Russia has moved troops and equipment freely between Russia and Belarus, without any psyops. So why would they need a psyop to do something they have already been doing freely? Heck, Putin even moved nuclear weapons to Belarus with Lukashenko's blessing, before the Wagner breakup.

Lukashenko has a hard time saying no to Russia, it almost seems like he is Putin's puppet, though I heard that Lukashenko invited Wagner soldiers to join their military in Belarus while they were there. That may have caused a little tension with Putin, since Putin wanted them to sign up for the Russian army, not the Belarus army. Some sources said a lot of tension, but I don't know how much tension there really is between Lukashenko and Putin. Lukashenko may have to say "no" at some point, and Putin is not going to like that.

For any economics buffs, this video uses lots of data to show why the Russian story about why they are raising the interest rate to 13% because of inflation is a lie, the real reason is to try to keep the ruble from falling further:

RUSSIA Ruble Collapse Causes Panic as Interest Rates are Hiked to 13% to Stop Ongoing Fall In Value

Russia's Invasion of UKRAINE has caused Major Problems for the Russian Economy as Trade with Europe & the West has collapsed and Changes to the Global Supply Chain caused by the SANCTIONS have caused further problems. The value of the Russian Ruble has COLLAPSED over the past 12 months and the value has been drifting again after trading at MORE THAN 100 against the US Dollar for the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY in August. In response to this the Russian Central Bank has Hiked Interest rates 3 times in the past 2 months and has now increased interest rates to 13%. In this video I discuss this issue in more detail and discuss the implications for Russia.

Spirit Cooking in Ukraine?

Zelenskyy has appointed Satanic artist Marina Abramovic as the Ambassador of Ukraine to rebuild educational institutes.

Zelensky had asked for her help in rebuilding schools. 🤔

Link: www.msn.com...

‌“I have been invited by Zelensky to be an ambassador of Ukraine, to help the children affected by rebuilding schools and such.”

‌She added: “I have also been invited to be a board member of the Babyn Yar organisation to continue to protect the memorial.”

"I was the first artist to support the Ukraine war against Russia and to give my voice."

Yeah I was wondering if rules are different with drones (kind of hard to surrender to a drone) and supposedly this happened on Russian control territory (idk if/how that would change the rules). Maybe someone who’s well versed on the topi can enlighten us with their take.

I found that video is relevant to this thread and presents a view from the other side of the conflict going on, something I have not seen a lot of. As for how accurate it all is, I will leave for people to make their own mind up about it with the fog of war going going on.

Zelenskyy has appointed Satanic artist Marina Abramovic as the Ambassador of Ukraine to rebuild educational institutes.
She said she is an artist, but is not a satanist. This article is from October 2020, so about 3 years ago:

Marina Abramović: ‘I’m an artist, not a satanist!’

“This is something I have been deeply bothered by,” she says. “I’m an artist, I’m not a satanist. They Googled me, and I am perfection to fit a conspiracy theory.” The five-pointed stars in her work, either burning or cut into her flesh (not a pentagram, but symbols from her communist childhood), the blood, the death, the dramatic clothes and long dark hair – you can see why people got overexcited.

She can laugh at the bonkers nature of it, but also says it is “absolutely disturbing. I had to change my email. I had people saying they were going to come to get me, they were going to kill me, it’s unbelievable. One said: ‘I will reveal your deepest secrets in two hours.’ I started laughing because I don’t have any secrets. I hope they will leave me alone. It’s horrible because it gives a shadow to the meaning of my work.”

Ukraine only partially destroyed Russia's naval headquarters in Sevastopol.
Governor Razvozhaev warns there will be loud noises, as Russians perform more demolition of the structure. The demolition is true but this must be a Russian propaganda source, because it says the building they are demolishing "serves as a symbol of strength and resilience". Really? I mean, nothing says the invasion of Ukraine isn't exactly going according to plan like having to demolish your own headquarters you built not too long ago.

Ongoing Demolition at the Black Sea Fleet Headquarters: A Source of Noise, Not Fear

The Black Sea Fleet headquarters, standing tall amidst the bustling city of Sevastopol, serves as a symbol of strength and resilience. Despite the ongoing war disputes and the necessary demolition work, the headquarters continues to fulfill its duties and responsibilities...
That makes it sound like they have people working at the headquarters while the demolition is going on there, which doesn't sound very safe. But that's probably just propaganda; the building should be evacuated while demolition work is going on there, shouldn't it?

While the ongoing demolition work at the Black Sea Fleet headquarters has caused some disruption in the form of noise, it is, in fact, a testament to the city’s strength and resilience in the face of ongoing war disputes. The necessary operation is being carried out with the utmost care to ensure the safety of the city and its residents.

Russia retaliated by attacking the grainery infrastructure in Odessa, which was significantly damaged, but I thought it was already significantly damaged in prior attacks after Russia pulled out of the grain deal.

25 September Update

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces continued offensive operations in the Melitopol (western Zaporizhia Oblast) direction and offensive assaults in the Bakhmut direction ...

The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces reported on September 25 that a precision Ukrainian strike on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) in occupied Sevastopol, Crimea, on September 22 killed 34 Russian officers, including BSF Commander Admiral Viktor Sokolov. Ukrainian Special Operations Forces reported that the strike, which occurred during a meeting of senior BSF leadership, also wounded 105 Russian personnel.

Ukrainian forces reportedly struck the Khalino Airfield and a Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) building in Kursk Oblast during a series of drone strikes on September 24.

Russian forces conducted a series of Shahed-131/136 drone and missile strikes on the night of September 24-25 against Ukrainian port, grain, and military targets. Ukrainian military officials reported that Russian forces launched 12 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles from the Black Sea, two Onyx cruise missiles from the Sevastopol area, and 19 Shahed drones from Krasnodar Krai. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 11 Kalibr missiles and all 19 drones.

Russian forces continued unsuccessful offensive operations near Bakhmut, along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast.

The Kremlin and the Armenian government continue to deflect blame onto one another over the surrender of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan amidst deteriorating Armenian-Russian relations.

This is photo of Marina Abramovic with Jacob Rothschild in front of a painting.
The painting is called: Satan Summoning His Legions

She seems pretty Satanic to me... 🤣
