All well and good....but its Russia that is the aggressor here.
Russia that invaded a non-threatening neighbour.
Russia that is pursuing this needless and senseless war.

Only Russia threatening first strike nuclear weapons.

I have no doubt that the US MIC is maximising this opportunity for profit but at the end of the day if Russia hadn't invaded that opportunity would not be there and if Russia decided to call an immediate ceasefire that opportunity would immediately be reduced.

But the USA are Devils and Russia are the good guys?

I don't think Russia is the good guy Freeborn, not for one minute. I have never ever suggested that in any post of mine. I just refuse to fall into the stupid nonsense 'Putler' talk.
Instead I comment on the how and why this conflict developed nothing more. I also mention the real threat to world peace and it isn't Russia. I have been watching a lot of Chomsky and Vidal videos and interviews. You might do the same if you really are interested in Geopolitics and the like.
I am condemning the real source of terror in the world, not in a local sense but globally. The US will never make peace with Russia, that was a 'given', long before this latest stage managed proxy war. The US is an Empire, not a Republic, those aren't my words but it's true. As Gore Vidal said 'American foreign policy is nothing more than a protection racket.

It occurred because Putin thinks the collapse of the USSR was the greatest crime of the century. As long as Putin is stuck in the 1980's things wont work out. Putin is still of the mindset that the West wants to invade Russia and the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO gave Putin the excuse he needed to invade under the guise that NATO would use Ukraine to invade Russia (which is funny given how long NATO has been around and its defensive only doctrine). Also the excuse to try and reform the USSR / Russian Empire (and we know this because of Odessa).

The days of territorial expansion thru war is over with and its time for Putin to join the rest of the planet in the 21st century.

The new martial law that Russia set to the occupied territorys in Ukraine allows Russia use now national guard there, and the Russian martial law itself enable national guard to shoot unarmed demonstrators

So basically this new martial law gives them right to just go shoot protestors, by Russia legal law .

Vladimir Putin created the National Guard of Russia by a Presidential Decree (Executive Order) 2016 and the leader of national guard is he`s buddy Viktor Zolotov.

I don't agree with anything you say and you make no points that reflect the real truth of the situation in Ukraine.

You won't address the hand that the USA has played in this. I'm not fussed though, I know what you are and what you represent.

They already have a massive foothold in the west. How many immigrants do you think are sleeper agents? I am willing to bet a significant number of them are. They have not forgotten what the western governments did to their homelands. It's a pity they will forget that most of us were opposed to and protested the actions of those people who call themselves our leaders.

I guess you are referring to Muslims in general. For sure there is plenty of them and at some point they might start a terror campaign, yet being honest and realistic about it, the Muslims I know are pretty much excellent people. Increasingly integrated, often more pro Britain than anyone else. Kurdish, Kashmiri's, bangladeshi, nice people. Never done me any harm.

MetalChickAmy what I was referring to was the threat of Iranian involvement in the Ukrainian war. It starts with 'advisors' and ends up so often with full military involvement. Iran will never get a better chance to get a foothold in Europe than this one. An interesting article from yesterday about their increasing involvement........................

Not to mention in 2019 Putin pulled Russia out of the Geneva Convention Protocol I, which deals specifically with civilians and war crimes.

Interesting, i guess Vlad didn't feel like being part of such noble idea like protecting civilians etc . Russian private military armys has also bad reputation in some African places, like Wagnerities what is run by Putins cook .

The deportation of civilians from Kherson to other Russian areas now is also not acceptable either, and how they have kidnap huge amount of Ukrainian children, transporting them to far Russia .

If Putin is seeking to use Iranian forces directly in Ukraine then its yet another example of his desperation and his desire to escalate.
It can't be viewed any other way.

We also have people speculating that Putin is about to order another large scale invasion using his alleged ultra-modern, highly motivated forces that he's apparently been keeping in reserve for some unfathomable reason.
This on top of his press ganged rag tag army of miscreants, has-beens and never-were's.
More escalation.

Martial law in the invasion zone and bordering areas.
The rest of Russia under increased security alert and just one step away from full martial law.

Forced relocation of Ukrainian nationals in the invasion zone to remote areas of Russia.

Don't know how anyone can continue making excuses for the man and what he is doing.
But still we have the apologists continuously barking their antI-USA/NATO dogma and rhetoric.

I could go on but to be honest.....I can't be arsed mate.

I'm sure we'll be going on for quite some time on this one. Too much at stake now, if Putin is pushed back it's effectively NATO or at least it's proxy right on Russia's true borders. Putin can't go back. Escalation is the only way forward for him.

Russia never has cared much for civilians. Take Grozny and Aleppo as case studies for Russian methods and contempt for innocent bystanders. Look at Mariupol and the strikes against the civilian populations in Ukraine - theatres, crowded railway stations, convoys of people fleeing, playgrounds, residential blocks - need I go on?
