If you live in the US, the same one you do. Look around, it's crazy as hell out there. Who knows what's going to happen. Why do you choose to respond so vehemently to a mere speculative post. It's not ''what it is or what it will be'', it's a bunch of us sitting down at our typewriters and going, ''what if''.

Someone who lives in the United States understands freedom of speech.
Only commies wish to shut people up.
Which you clearly advocated.

Thanks for that.
Any other wizards out there so dangerous they shouldn’t be allowed to communicate?

Hey, don't come at me with that stuff, didn't you read the OP?
Here, second paragraph of the OP

THIS IS NOT to talk about if he deserves it or if he doesn’t but more what will happen…the fallout. Oh there will be fallout.

Got it now? It's not a WHY thread, only an IF then what thread.

having pondered our direction of travel I take the view that a modern democracy is more liable to face a version of the UK's troubles with one group fighting another.. we already see the groups forming..

but I do fear it may evolve into something akin to the English civil wars where it split 3 ways with 2 main groups fighting each other and everyone else left fighting the other 2

I am so with you!!!
I actually think if it were to happen we would see something similar. Maybe we are already seeing that in a way…

He won't be arrested.
They just don't want him running in 24.

Come on. Don't talk like that.

This is the goal: www.abovetopsecret.com...

See, there you are at it again. This thread is not about tit for tat or Biden. You seem so locked into defending Trump that you don't even know the intent of the thread. Scheeeesh.

I started this thread because I feel like we have been on the precipice of a civil war or massive internal conflict in the US for quite some time. We are a raging pot ready to boil over. I think we've seen extremism on both sides.
I think the riots were some of it coming to a boil. I think the lockdown and the anger over that and masks were some of it coming to a boil. The January 6th events were yet another. I've seen on social media people growing weary of constant upheaval, because it is happening more frequently... what does that mean? Everyone is going to strive for peace? Of course not, it usually means things get worse before they get better.

I could see if Trump were arrested that might be the straw breaking the camels back. Having said that, I am genuinely curious what other think and how that would play out. I appreciate those that understood what I was asking.

They don’t understand hypothetical questions but take them as fact, and implore you to prove it.

I"t nice to hear that opinion Jag, I've been pondering the same thing. I've read that the ability to think in the abstract is not an across the board ability which of course includes hypothetical questions. I guess for some life is ''this or that'' and that's all. Dunno, just thinking here.

Then our transition to banana republic will be complete. Liberals will also most likely want it somewhere where people will riot and they can claim more violence insurrection nonsense.

Lmfao, what? Arrest him in front on his base at a Rally?

That's a ridiculous prediction. He won't be arrested, at all.

More importantly, federal institutions are on high alert, what? Go in front of an angry MAGA crowd and arrest the Former POTUS? Lmfao, they'll be ripped apart and from there, the onset of a soft civil war.

Come on Shooter. I didn't advocate for ANYTHING. It's only speculation, that's all. Right or wrong, stupid or impossible, it's only speculation.

Never heard of the old rule of thumb that the people are nine missed meals away from a revolution at any given time?

Part of the art of war is manipulation of things to your favor. A parade of Trump’s Army would never make through the Southside of Chicago even if it was just a march through with no planned engagement. The gang bangers would decimate them. Even a tank escort might not be enough. Chicago PD would clean up the rest easily enough and capture or destroy the remaining tanks that the games didn’t steal.

But if Chicago was embargoed by a siege, those same gang bangers would rampage the city for themselves. Why? Because they cannot organize a large enough force to overcome the siege army that really only has to take and destroy incoming goods.

Medieval tactics still work. Would Joe try to break the siege. Sure. How many of his troops would follow orders or simply join the opposing side? Case and point. During the occupation of DC by National Guard troops in 2021, troops slept in the Rotunda for the first time since the Civil War. Others were left exposed to the elements in a parking garage.

Who is the Taliban now that you have been reminded that DC required occupation, fences and barricades despite no one firing a shot on Jan6, except for one Capitol Police Officer that fired into a crowd that had his own people in it and no one beside him fired. In all circumstances that would be called a “bad shoot” and the officer disciplined or fired.

I do think we are already seeing it across the western world as group delimit between rural and urban landscapes as the cultures clash..

It'll take some skillful diplomacy to prevent it escalating but then I'm not sure the will is there to prevent it..

I don’t know if the arrest itself would be the straw. I could see some getting out of hand over it (like the guy that raided the FBI in Cincinnati). But if a small group like Women For Trump was raided and worked over with a heavy hand by some of Clinton and Janet Reno’s jackbooted thugs…

That could be the straw.

And since you know I am pretty deliberate with examples…Women For Trump were the ones that organized and hosted the January 6 Rally where Trump and others gave speeches.

The fact that Rasmussen is saying at least 50% of voters approve of the search is surprising. Rasmussen is a Conservative outlet and their polling tends to skew that way. Their polls always had Trump's approval rating several points higher than the average.

So if even they're showing that many people approving of the raid, and Biden's approval rating increasing, then it may be that the majority of the country actually believes the search warrant was warranted.

At some point we have to ask ourselves honestly if Biden's poll numbers were reversed, would this raid have happened? It looks like the benchmark for getting re-elected after a first term is at least 49.1(Obama's first term) Biden is at 38 he has dropped 19 points since his first poll as President.

He might get more of a bounce but still be well short of that 49.1 thresholds, and FWIW I seriously doubt any first term Presidential number ever rebounded from such a low to a 49.1 in their first term.

here is the bench mark Biden needs to hit, whatver is done will done with the polls in mind

I'm not convinced it'll start in the USA ss the lines are delimited the same way across the western world, there are far to many cultural powder kegs at the moment for one not to blow up in societies face.. but where ever it starts it'll end up everywhere,

Its why at some points I think we're on the slide to another reformation as the west needs to leave this # for a new age of reason..

I guess that depends who you ask.
Some believe the raid was to cause trouble and cast doubts on Trump 2024.

but...

Sometimes I think abstractly... what if the raid was to help Trump...
A phoenix out of the fire type of thing..?

I usually think whatever they show us at face value it's the opposite...

Well there you are sir. Once again repeating an accusation that is totally unfounded. Repeat it again and again and it will not change. I advocated NOTHING, yet you, for your own reasons, or maybe for no reason at all other than needing to lash out, seem incapable of realizing that.

Johnson did really well playing to the English heroic stereotype, his linedead in a ditch was a short version of a king being asked about seeing his kingdom defeated and said to avoid seeing it you die in the last ditch, not long after Trump went to the Alamo, recently Johnson used the Hollywood hasta la vista or "I'll be back" as his leaving speech..

They both play the heroic underdog figure while getting their opponents to take on the role of national stereotypical villain, it is amazing to watch and I often question why so many are so keen to take embrace the role of being villain..

Let him have his luxury in his own setting where he can be physically comfortable but shut down his communication avenues and only allow him to communicate though his attorneys.

Deny your quote all you like, it is yours and no one else’s.
Interesting how that vile crap slips out.
Or not.
