I’m not saying that anyone Chooses to be a child. And some people’s feelings of maturity May not match the age they were assigned at birth.

My Niece's Husband is a Child Psychiatrist for a local school district. I asked him about this. He told me that if he wanted to keep his job, he couldn't comment on it. He did say that it's going to do wonders for his "job security".

My Cousin's Granddaughter just graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education. She's been advised that if she wants a good job, she needs to keep quiet about her views on this.

I saw this about a week ago. If we would have to believe the LGBTQ more than 20% of the U.S has been born in the wrong body and does somehow not occur in saudi arabia or anywhere else in africa. But remember , this is not social engineering people !

Someone I know is getting out of school psychology ... well, moving to a private school environment because the district "started doing a bunch of things I did not agree with". That could be a lot of things, but it seems to be a common issue.

Gay people are sentenced to death for being gay in saudi arabia.

Relations between people of the same sex — whether men or women — can be tried as capital crimes in Saudi Arabia. 

Islamic law is based on interpretations of Sharia, which in turn is an interpretation of the Quran.

Exactly. I work with a woman who is gay. Her partner has a little girl who just turned 1. She brings the baby to work with her sometimes and occasionally I get asked to keep an eye on her while she has a meeting. The little one and I get along real well. One day she introduced me to her partner, who is a nice woman. We started talking and the subject came up about them. I said that it was none of my business. What ever two adults decide to do is their business. That blew her mind.

I posted years ago that the simplest way to solve the "gay marriage" issue was to get Government out of the "marriage" business. Government's role should be confined to a "Civil Union". Basically a form of an article of incorporation. That allows partners to make decisions about things that arise. Marriage should be confined to religion.

I've posted this before. Again it is relevant here. This is why the issue is being pushed by the Liberal Socialists. The people involved are being used to promote their political agenda.

I agree; I think had society taken that rout on the issue of marriage (and other similar issues) the acceptance the LGBTQ community is looking for would come much faster.

I would expanded the Civil Union idea to include more than a sexual relationship between two people to where any two or more human beings of any age can form a union... not unlike a corporation is formed... it would do away with many unnecessary things like estate planning and wills and help with the "families" accumulation of wealth and taxation... a parent and a child could for example join in a civil union and the parents assets or benefits are shared by the child with out the need for legal transfer.

I second your opinion on civil unions. The handwriting was on the wall once the gay community was granted civil unions and then pushed the boundary to go after marriage next. Could have sworn there was some sort of gay agenda manifesto published back in the 80's that showed the steps the community was going to take to normalize their lifestyle among the masses.

As far as another poster stating that the biggest thing amongst teens is not to hurt feelings and accept.....uhhhhh, teens need to grow a pair. That isn't real life as much as we want it to be that way. In fact, this train of thought is some of the most damaging to young minds...thinking that everyone should like and accept them. It isn't reality. Best you can do is be yourself and accept YOURSELF for you who are. Who cares what others think. Sure, try to treat others like you want to be treated but know that far more times than not, especially during school years, this won't happen like you want it to.

Been gay now is a fashion within the young population, until they get mutilated and then find out they can never reproduce again and never enjoy sex, then the suicide numbers will go over the roof as transgenders already have a high rate of suicides.

It wasn't a "gay" agenda, it was a Democratic Party agenda. A blogger that I like supported gay marriage. He and his wife did a lot to try to further it in his State. Then a funny thing happened. He was told to back off by the very people that he was supporting. They told him that they wanted Hilary to lead the push during the 2016 election. Think that one through.

I'll agree that "teens need to grow a pair" to a point. The problem now isn't teens, it's younger children who's parents and schools are pushing this agenda. As I've mentioned, I know parents who are raising their children to be "gender neutral" and basking in the praise given to them by some on social media. All a child wants is acceptance and love. They don't know anything about this and look for their parents to set the example. They are the victims in this.

It needs to be recognized that this can be a Psychological or Physical disorder. It isn't the fault of the afflicted. To me that's where the " not to hurt someone's feelings and to accept them as they are." part comes in.

Reminds me of the religious kids when I was in high school.

The boys always went after the religious girls because they had been sheltered by their parents and were extremely naive.

So many actually believed you got pregnant from kissing -- because in the movies they'd show a couple kissing -- next thing you know the girl is pregnant.

Most gays I know are religious and want to be married in their church.

Legal government marriage is a contract to protect rights and property of those in it.

Except in cases of Covenant Marriage (recognized in only Arizona, Arkansas, and Louisiana) -- a government contract is required for legal marriage.

You should research the history of the marriage license -- basically a money making scheme devised by the Catholic Church.
