“The more money you spend on guns, the less money you spend on people! More weapons, less happiness; more guns, more misery!”

Depends on circumstances.

Give up your country -- invaded by a Bully with Nukes -- or fight for it!

Yea, quotes can be highly subjective. Maybe we shouldnt meme our way through discussions then?

Yep, then they can get back to Ukranians killing its own civilians.

By calling them nazis that constantly kill each other to cover for the fact they are killing russian invaders trying to steal land?

Nah, that's your thing.

dehumanise the enemy and it makes it easier to kill them in their thousands
crush their inferior skulls beneath your boots that's how it goes.

its a tried and tested tactic, i'm surprised they aren't eating the dead to instill even more fear
but I guess rules of war and that.

Tricked, provoked, persuaded, whatever synonym suits.

Its not a justification. However its part of the timeline.

I would say watch the interview or read the transcript. Or don't, your choice. However he really breaks down the entire situation in quite easy-to-understand details.

Part of putin's delusional reality anyway.

He also thought the US was building bio weapons, Isreal had installed nukes to hit Crimea, and Ukraine was stockpiling dirty bombs under Cherynobol.

Along with other unicorn land nonsense.

It's not the opinion of Putin, it's actual intelligence going back to 2014 from a former NATO advisor.

So, the opinion of someone who used to work for NATO, or perhaps just someone trying to explain putin's delusional reality.

Lots of other folks that work for NATO have the opposite opinion.

Ok. Either way I'll trust a former NATO advisor over random internet guy. It's all laid out well without the fog of war and makes plenty of sense. (The explanation, that is)

There’s a herd situation going on. “Which side”

For the majority here who aren’t on either side, are leaning on anti Biden/left thrust with Zelensky ,failing at Oscars with Will Smith getting top social media hype.

To just automatically fall on Ukraine side here, and feel guilty is premature.

This whole Ukraine situation is notorious,

and been complicated. With many hands involved. Crimea was taken under Obama in 2014.

And you’re seeing eastern Ukraine right now.

This isn’t new or “unseen” no matter how the media try’s to hype “viewership”

They’ve been warned ahead of time.

How about all the other 'NATO guys'?

It isn't my opinion that matters.

Not one rando former 'NATO guy' either.

Example:

scott ritter is a former 'NATO guy', and his opinion on any matter is completely irrelevant.

Looks like Biden is going to piss you off more soon.

More you were gliding under Biden during this Ukraine situation with weapons,

Under Trump was halt under true assurances.

Trump wouldn’t play around and kept NATO at bay.

Putin knew Trumps situation at home and might be unpredictable yet VERY fair to deal with said ok. Trump let it be then
