They build the " Russia is victim and constantly threatened by West " by themselves,and it`s saturated by their chronic imperial mindset. NATO was not going to attack, nor was Ukraine .

Another issue if their chronic paranoid thinking, which has come something they actually seems to like, they like being the USSR kgb style persona who is on constant red alert 24/7 against americans.

What Putin really fears is democracy/freedom . And since Putin / Russians has that Imperial mindset they think being in position where they have the right to decide what kind of society is allowed in their neighbouring countrys ...So they are bullys, and because this war now they are a terrorist state .

They dont live in reality, they really think that they can dictate what other sovereign countrys can do inside their borders.

If you agree with the Russian imperial mindset, you have adopted their bs propaganda/disinformation.


They have big mental issues ok , to but it simply . Not meaning all Russians , but the leaders and brainwashed there.

There is no such thing as a "small" nuke.

They will not go after Putin even if he uses nukes. The likely scenario is NATO has told Rusia use of nukes will cause NATO troops to expell Russia from Ukraine and loss of the black sea fleet.

If this is triggered within a week all Ukrainian territory will be returned including Crimea.

I doubt Russia could last 3 days against a coalition force. They can't fight at night and western troops can.

as long as the West / NATO limits itself to freeing Ukraine.
if they tried a land invasion INTO Russia all those Russians will turn into patriots, grab their grandpa's Mosin-Nagants, and here comes WWIII.

Nobody since hitler has been that stupid, putin just 'claimed' to fear an invasion to justify his own land grabbing.

Same with nazi bio weapons labs.

It was brief, and quickly dropped due to ridicule.

Apparantly, russia had 'evidence' that Israel provided the 'nazis' with nukes that were buried under Kherson and ready to be quickly fired at the Sevastopol base.

I don't think it got any traction outside of the beforeitsnews, lancaster, rogan & and alex jones spheres.

Putin had no other choice.

Putin had plenty of other options other than invading a country he had sworn he would NEVER invade and who posed no direct threat at all.

You have to take the blinkers off, step in a Russian pair of shoes and look at it from their perspective

I'd have thought you know me well enough to know that I try to look at everything from an unbiased perspective.
Of course I fail sometimes and my preconceived opinions cloud my judgement etc......but not on this occasion.

I have yet to hear anything to even come anywhere near close to convincing me anything other than this invasion is by far primarily motivated by Putin, his egotistical and megalomaniacal need and desire for some sort of personal glory, his yearning for a Great epithet and his longing for a return to some perceived former Soviet Glory Days.
Everything else is obfuscation, smoke in mirrors and absolute bollocks.

Ukraine posed no threat to Russia.

Perhaps if Russia hadn't been such a domineering, repressive Overlord during the Soviet years all those former Russian territories and ex-Warsaw Pact countries wouldn't be so scared of them, fear their expansionism and feel compelled to seek protection from them?

Sad actually. He is representative, I fear, of entire generations of Russians who have convinced themselves that they, personally were somehow greater when their country was called the USSR.
