That's why these statements have been compiled mate and thank you for addressing (and actually reading) them - think the most interesting part for me was the 'Miscellaneous'.

First became truly interested after seeing how truly fake some of the official UFO explanations actually are.

So here's the twist on that..

and I suppose this souns like a 'god of the gaps argument',

but there are so many factors at play here.

1. it's a collaboration to 'summon a btufo'. I've felt no desire to try again.
2. the first time took me over 5 years to recover.
3. what you find (just like in quantum mechanics) is that 'local realism is not preserved'
"we aren't real either so to speak. that the 'BTUFO' may well have been attempting
to summon a human (me) and couldn't get a picture of me either.
4. this 'deeper facet of consciouisness' if you want to call it that, isn't some pet that
we can train to do stupid pet tricks (appear on command). If anything, we are the pets.

Yet, some kind of 'working relatonship' might be possible.. I don't know the 'master plan'
about how this stuff unfolds or not.

Maybe all of us 'experiencers' are just hallucinating.

Mainly because of all the ufo-related incidents in Brazil, many of them look like MILAB Psyops, if there ever were any.

Then they sent a particular well-known government-connected ufologist to check out the results. If you know what I mean...

One thing interesting about this book I'm interested in reading is the claim that UFOs haven't been any kumbaya thing. If you ever see a ufo, I always tell folks, please, don't run to it like a kid to a new toy, yelling, " Oh gee, a ufo.

Most folks have the sense not to out of fear, at least.

In fact, run the opposite way, or get in your house and close all the windows and shades.

I've only ever said that something happened to me,
and that while many other cases show the same
'oz factor', I can't verify any of those cases.

"Aslan" was a character in CS Lewis's Narnia series.
That's where that social reference came from.

UFOlogy is not a field where you can prove anything.

I suspect it will always be that way.

I agree the statments by some of these Blue book and blue book esque "researchers" just confirmed what I already believed about them

ive always thought we were somthign like in a video game, like an RPG that WE play, were in sort of the same type of reality, and just like a game you can program in things to appear , fly, disappear etc.

If it's any comfort to you,

my co-author has had exactly One (1) paranormal
experience; but he's the very famous univeristy
professor that everyone in his field quotes.

now his work is exemplary.. he's picked the cookie
crumb trail out of a thousand years of writings..
and he's amazingly erudite.

I've had the experiences and the hands on.. I'll
describe soemthing and he'll tell me that what
i'm observing (from nature) was first noticed
by thus and so scholar 300 to 3000 years ago.

I don't read those old dead dudes.

In this field (of attempting to understand
'reality' when it's so screwy, the famous
Ph.D.'s can get published and heard, and
the "# faced boys" (me and people like
me (the reference is to an old spiritual
story) have things to say, but no 'pedigree'.

It does make for an interesting colalboration.

Now, will it be worth a damn for anyone else
but us?

It's not a bad theory at all.

Science dresss it up with information theory and simulation hypothesis
and boltzmann brains and things like that.. but that's just used to
appear 'scientific'.

Hope that post didn't sound too passive aggresive there Kev but yes this subject is a rather frustrating one and hope you can see where I'm coming from.

Went back and read some of your posts from the old FBT thread and still don't know what to make of it - your description is certainly very intriguing though.

You said in a previous post that 'it's easier to summon a BTUFO these days' - if I was standing next to you at the time what do you think I would see?

Regarding the Oz factor have read quite a number of first hand accounts (particularly involving cryptids) where as well as time being 'dislocated' and sound being 'muted' there are also reports which describe the environmental colour being 'faded' (or bleached out) - ever come across that aspect?

Also have been reading about specific brainwaves playing a role and the surprising number of young children who report 'the paranormal' - their state is usually Theta (before constant TV watching turns them into Alpha state zombies) and could be absolutely nothing but also read that a certain film thickens over the eyes around the age of seven.

Quite a few freaky reports involving beautiful 'flute like' music and Ariel School filmmaker Randall Nickerson brings up the subject below - the 'music' also reminded me of this freaky UFO 'goblin' case from Puerto Rico in 1979.

There doesn't seem to be any unequivocal proof of origin Kev but there are certainly indicators of actuality which can help corroborate a UFO report (if the object is based in objective reality).

Separately located witnesses, EM effects, physiological effects, animal reaction, ground trace evidence, electronic sensor capture etc.

Think I'm right in saying that when it comes to physiological effects Keel reckoned the eye damage sustained by quite a number of UFO witnesses were caused by the object shifting from the Ultra Violet.

I've been published in a UFO/spiritual book for years,
but I don't tell anyone about it. I'ts nothing that people
here haven't alreay heard for free.

But recently, I've written my chapter and it's proofed and approved.
Now we wait 6 months for it to make it through editing
and approvals.

I'm now starting on a book of my own, where I imagine
my new writing friend will want to participate.

I'll share the book(s) info with any actual friends
I have from ATS in 6 months, as it's against the TOS
to mention something you might profit from
(I'm not profiting, I'm donating my time for this
and the next book).

But, that's all I should say for the moment.. and
I guess I should stop mentioning it.. I must admit

Thanks for timestamping that one Kev and can well believe the Paperclip CIA and Department of Fatherland Security would try something like this, especially with Herr Schwab's upcomiing fourth 'industrial revolution' (Reich).

Stage managed UFO hearings to facilitate the prohibition of objective research under the facade of 'amateurs' spreading 'UFO disinformation' (as if that's not precisely what the CIA has been doing all these decades).

Really was put in mind of CSICOP's Phil Klass attempts to link UFO research with 'subversion' back during his malicious (and mendacious) letter writing campaigns - probably no wonder that he was citing Bobby R. Inman and Daniel O. Graham as references.

Regarding CSICOP (now CSI), Hansen examines the possibility that the skeptical organization was infiltrated early on by a small but determined group of U.S. government-affiliated operatives, whose true motives have far more to do with disinformation than skepticism.
