This is a miss conception brought on by PETA and the likes. Commercially produced goose liver labeled "Fois Gras" in made this way and it is very poor treatment of the goose. Not to mention that it produces a very tasteless liver.

Real Fois Gras, like Moulard Duck Foie Gras, can only be produced by the duck choosing the eat foods that give it a fatty yet meaty liver. Force feeding a duck doesn't work in producing a quality product.

So yes and no to your statement. I make sure that I talk to the people that I'm getting my fois gras from and ensure that I can visit where the ducks are kept, but I will also during duck season talk my friends out of any nice looking wild caught duck livers too. Knowing where your food comes from and how it's produced is a very big key in getting quality tasting foods. Basically be a smart shopper.

I have always found that Kabuki is the wrong kind of show when describing how we are being manipulated. A better term would be to say that this is a Bunraku show.

True story: Crowley was registered as an agent of the British Crown when he first came to America.

Also, true story: Blavatsky manipulated ancient histories in order to make her Theosophy sound more mystic than it really was.

Both of them were about on spot with Lovecraft in spinning tales of the unknown, but both can be credited with leading people into looking at other religions for stories of the past. Funny thing about the mystic teachings of Crowley, both he and Lovecraft got their ideas at first from the singing sands in Africa.

Funny how it is always the same group of people that are concerned about misinformation being labeled as truth, like Russian Collusion but different.

Should be a sign, instead, we have the goog starting to edit GoogDocs to correct the truths before the truths are delivered by correcting the language used to deliver the truths while in utero instead of after they are delivered.
