The working theory is that actual Russian prostitutes stole it from him. There two labtops recovered, and the later is the worst. Somehow the FBI got it when they were looking for the original one. Again, it could have been planted.

Hunter reported the first laptop stolen because things were on there that could damage his dad's run for the Presidency, he told the FBI.

IMO, that laptop was worse for Joe than the one we've all seen photos/e-mails/videos from...which is laptop #2, which was left at the computer repair store.

I believe laptop #3 was (and still is?) being used while #2 was in for repair.

We can HOLD data offline easily enough - hard drives etc.

...but its usefulness is not PRESERVED without the software to interpret and display the data!


We have been fed that, for example, Microsoft software will cease to exist on the Quantum internet and new software will replace those products.


It may be that we need to backup SOFTWARE as well as DATA?

Maybe this is why we were also provided GHIDRA - so that we can understand/maintain copies of, what will become, old Microsoft software?
