The Christ is Not a Person.....is a book written by JC Tefft.

Christ is the visible image.....the one life, ever present, the only way....never not here.

This is JC Tefft speaking about the end of the sense of separateness.

All one in Christ.

Yep that's right, most of you are going to die soon. Not deserving of anything else. Nor any real truths. God knows what he's doing....and why,. Crystal clear to me as to the 'why' question. On this planet, there are actually very few people worthy or preserving through Armageddon. It's not rocket science.

That's not to say that one can't contribute to a change in that situation on an individual basis, but in the end Matthew 7:13,14 will prove to be true, just like the rest of the Bible's statements that have already proven to be true.

Disappointed in mankind as a whole, but there are definitely golden nuggets out there.

There are probably a lot more than my best guess, but Matthew 7:13,14 still applies.

Life is here now....eternally....there is nothing other....nothing separate.

So who can change what?

The gate is gateless....

Where does the bible say: "You can't see God"?

Do you believe that statement is true?

If so...do you think that God can let a layman like me, see God? That is...if God felt like it?

Thanks...

Erno

No man will see God and live.

No wave will see the ocean and live.

In the bible it says 'no man will see God and live' and I have offered this:
No wave will see the ocean and live......

It's the answer to your question about whether you will see God.

It's simply a misconception.....the ocean is waving......there never was an independent wave.

Exodus 33 tells of moses seeing god but only his back parts

19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

I see what you are getting at, all powerful should mean he can show himself to whoever he wants, he makes the rules.

The idea that he has to follow some form of cosmic rules was another thing that made me doubt the bible.

If there is only God dreaming he is a person and he wakes up to who he is then the illusion of being separate to all that is, dies.

So?

It obviously was not what the bible says.

You can see gods butt but not his face.

You said:

But Romans 8:30 runs contrary to what you’re suggesting…because it’s essentially stating that people are predestined to become believers…as it’s only believers who ultimately become glorified…

I explained this in the last post but of course you ignore it because you want to find these loopholes/plot holes where there are none.

Your first "devour" loop hole fell flat and now we're onto this one. Let's try a Back to the Future explanation since you ignored or didn't understand the last post.

Let's say I have a friend and like Marty McFly, I figure out how to go to the future. I then see that in a year, my friend moves into a new house. I then go back in time to the point where I left.

A year later my friend moves into the house that I saw she moved into in the future. Here's the question.

Does my friend's free will to move into the house cease to exist because I have knowledge that she was moving into the house?

God is outside of space and time so he knows all things. We're predestined to be glorified because it's God's will that we and the universe exists. God allowed us to have free will. The Bible says:

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

So God knows who will choose to receive Him and be glorified and who will choose to reject Him and goeth into perdition.

That's 2 loopholes/plot holes asked and answered.

They want to live their life with no restrictions or perceived observations. They want zero accountability.

Not really.

Your current position seems to be he knows which of his children he will dote on and which will go into a fiery pit. Why create them at all?

Good point and this is why they don't want to retain the knowledge of God in their conscious.
