How does Putin even get away with such a claim? Ukraine has a Jewish president giving it all to his country of Nazi sympathizers? C'mon. You can find a Nazi anywhere and everywhere. You can find an anecdotal case or photo of a group of Nazis anywhere and everywhere. Where is the large-scale evidence for such a claim?

Because Russians are discriminated in Ukraine.

On the Zelensky front he will be a gangster installed puppet doing the work of the western leaning mafiosa.

You will note they are all Jewish who get installed into power or of that descending line....... Yatsenyuk, Grossmann, Porkyshenko, Zilensky, Timorshenko. All of them. They all do the work of their bosses in the gangster worl of oligarchy

it should be responsibility of everyone involved I think , those that follow orders to launch nukes , knowing full well if they do they are ending all life on earth.
Id like to think a soldier with the keys wouldnt launch

these assholes in power dont get to have the power to end all life on earth absolutely NO #ing way
why are we the majority allowing this , why do we allow wars to continue , why do we allow our wealth to support the arms race.

Not one single one of us wants this , yet they do

No buts; This is Putin's doing. End of story.

Perplexed as to why people actually think Putin has the right to invade another country, especially as some of those people have been highly critical of the actions of the West in recent years.

Baffling isn't it.
All those supporters of 'Freedom' and 'Libertarianism' who are now openly supporting an authoritarian tyrant and opponent of Free Speech.

People who spoke out against Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan now supporting war in Ukraine.

You rant about Nazi's in Ukraine and then this;

Pot and kettle?

So are you seriously suggesting that these Jews are also Nazi's, because it certainly seems that way?

So please supply me just ONE diret Quote from Putin

That State s he Wants to Occupy the Whole of the Ukraine

www.nytimes.com...

In its own readout of the call, the Kremlin said that Mr. Putin had told his French counterpart that his main goal was “the demilitarization and neutral status of Ukraine.” Those goals, the Kremlin said, “will be achieved no matter what.”

www.npr.org...

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned Saturday that Ukrainian statehood is in jeopardy and likened the West's sanctions on Russia to "declaring war," while a promised cease-fire in the besieged port city of Mariupol collapsed amid scenes of terror.

Putin continued to pin the blame for the war squarely on the Ukrainian leadership and slammed their resistance to the invasion.

"If they continue to do what they are doing, they are calling into question the future of Ukrainian statehood," he said. "And if this happens, it will be entirely on their conscience."

www.nytimes.com...

Since time immemorial, the people living in the southwest of what has historically been Russian land have called themselves Russians and Orthodox Christians.

So, I will start with the fact that modern Ukraine was entirely created by Russia or, to be more precise, by Bolshevik, Communist Russia. This process started practically right after the 1917 revolution, and Lenin and his associates did it in a way that was extremely harsh on Russia — by separating, severing what is historically Russian land.

Mr. Putin is repeating his longstanding argument that Ukraine’s borders are an artificial creation of Soviet planners who unjustly cordoned rightful Russian land within the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.

His repeated references to Ukraine as artificial, and his past claims that “Ukraine is not even a state,” as he said in 2008, suggest he may also be leaving himself the option of declaring all of Ukraine to be a historical invention, serving to justify a wider invasion.

Buman brought up the Jews and Nazis, I was merely stating exactly what you said.............. They are all pots and kettles FB and playing eac h side off the other for control of Ukraines resources plus gas transit routes into Europe be it from Arabia or Siberia. These people are one and the same yet they use Putin and Zelensky to battle out this game of money all the time playing the political car5ds of nationalism

It's the fault of 100% binary US political indoctrination. You'd chop off your own head if it meant you could spite the other party.

Tend to agree AugustusMasonicus.

Thing is Putin decides to run with the nuclear ball, and there might not be any parties left standing.

Or anything much else for that matter.

For the life of me i simply cannot understand why some people cannot see it.

I'm starting to wonder whether that Russian convoy North of Kyiv is keeping its distance from Kyiv for reasons other than saboteurs & Ukrainian attacks - are they perhaps maintaining a distant position in order to remain unaffected by a potential battlefield nuclear strike of limited size? To protect them from the conflagration & somewhat reduce radiation exposure? Or perhaps MOABs, FOABs, etc?

It's a bit of a wild card suggestion, but the possibility remains.

All you can see is Ukraine good Russia bad. It's far more complicated than that plus with have a whole host of outside influences adding to the fire.

Yea, I have to agree with this, it's tantamount to claiming that USA = always good.

There are many complex issues at play here (and in reality we tend to make things more complex than they need to be). I will say again my particular perspective on it all, the Russian government = F'ed up, the Russian people as a collective are good people...they dont want this.

With respect to whomever asked for evidence of people getting beaten up in the streets for merely speaking their language, well i would ask you put the USA in that equation. Do you believe that every incident of what would or could be deemed a hate crime, actually always have supporting evidence of it?

Our just some really terrible logistics and support via unsecured supply lines.

If Putin hits Kyiv with a tactical nuke or ICBM its game over for the people there.

City will be a burning pile of radioactive slag, with no spoils to be had or sycophants around to worship him.

What would be the point in that?

Its a chocolate teapot cluster feck and then some alphabetaone.

How one lunatic at the end of a daft table could possible be allowed to threaten nuclear war on the rest of the civilised world down to the fact that he fluffed up invading his peaceful neighbour is quite frankly beyond me.

What's your plan for ending it though?

Stop paying taxes? = Go to jail.

Force your way into their offices and hold them hostage until they do our bidding? = Go to jail.

Consider yourself a "sovereign citizen" and create and live by your own laws? = Go to jail.

I dont disagree with your sentiment, I just can't see what is on the other side of the = sign..... here in the US we were supposed to be afforded honest and equal representation with our duly elected representatives and, ultimately, our President working FOR us, and as a result we were supposed to believe they were doing so in good faith. Yet, lacking that, I ask again, what would be your plan to ensure our governments do exactly what we the people truly want?

True. I mean are we talking about the political motivations for supporting this Russian aggression and threats? Or are we talking about the strategic efficacy of making those threats?

The political motivations are CRAZY for supporting the aggression....in an effort to try and NOT make this a political bait session, all im going to say is that many former presidents and european leaders for years have capitulated to Russia and their human rights abuses with sometimes even less than slaps on the wrist, mostly due to fear of exactly the threats Putin is making now...we've procured an environment (all of Europe and the US) where Putin believes he is beyond reproach, so why wouldn't he believe he can make the threats?

The military strategic motivations are more obvious.... "im the guy with a big stick too".

Suppose it was inevitable given the information age we now exist.

I don't mean Putin, although his actions could have been predicted given his lies, and repeated ones at that, where invasion was concerned, never mind his antics in 2014.

But the fact that nations communicate and are connected in ways that they never have been before impacts the situation.

People can see what he's all about all over the planet.

We wont stand by and let Ukraine fall to the Russian aggressor, because one of us will simply be next.

And as to NATO, Putin brought them closer to his own doorstep and reunited there comradery by way of his own action.

He's dug his own grave really, hopefully he climbs, or is ""helped"" in, before he manages to nuke anybody.

That's all we can really hope for now i suppose.
