I wont forget putnam6, same as the majority of the rest of my nation, that canny be arsed with the doom porn and are all vaccinated and doing just fine.

Yes but fully vaxxed is only 65% we won't ever get to full immunity, we were told 75% -85% of the population needs to be vaccinated minimum not by doom porners but by Dr. Fauci himself, oh goodness who do we trust? Even if you and your family are diligent that 65% fully vaccinated will likely continue to drop. Leading to other COVID waves and possibly more and deadlier variants. Please make sure you mask up and wash your hands too.

Ironic that Fauci supposedly did great things for the AIDS community, but now he has created an entire new one. Nice job you ignorant Napoleonic POS.

But regarding infolurker’s original question - are folk as worried about the AstraZeneca vaccines as they are about the mRNA vaccines causing VAIDS.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is an mRNA vaccine. I believe you're thinking about the J&J vaccine, which is not based on mRNA technology.

The AstraZenneca one isn't a mRNA Vaccine.

Thanks ScepticScot for correcting that before I got the chance 👍🏻

What I know about the real sciencey science of vaccination etc you could write on a stamp (a very small stamp). But whatever it really means at a microscopic level, I can say with the same amount of certainty that usually gets me into trouble that the AZ is indeed an adenovirus vaccine; it’s true, cos I read it somewhere 😬

Now, I think that means it’s one of the ‘old fashion’ vaccines in which a dead bit of the naughty virus is jabbed into your arm to create that lovely immune response; like a boxer applying a kindly left jab that if you’re listening tells you to duck NOW because the big right is incoming.

…I was wondering, just as Infolurker had originally wondered on page1, whether the criteria that those who believe the mRNA vaccines are dangerous also applies, within their rationale, to the adenovirus vaccines (asking for a friend, not!)

I don't imagine "full immunity" is completely possible.

As to "mask up and wash your hands too".

The former you should do when appropriate the latter, you should always do.

Unprotected sex with someone that has HIV or AIDS virus springs to mind.

Sharing or using contaminated needles would be another.

Then there is contaminated donner blood i suppose.

Its not even that hard.

But mRNA vaccines certainly don't tick the box.

Had AZ just over a year ago and didn't bother with the booster myself but like a couple of million other Brits I have full blood screenings every 3 - 6 months due to having to take daily medications that are known to cause rare harms to the immune system and organs.

There's not been any reported increase/decrease/alteration in immune system functioning in sampled patients in the UK for any reason regardless of vavccination status let alone any evidence vaccines cause AIDS.

Pretty sure all of those involve HIV at some point.

Our magenta naped fellow member said there were other causes, I was curious to what they were however he seems reluctant to share.

Go back and read what I said.

The only post I remember defected by mentioning this thread rather than any actual cause. If I missed one please let me know where.

The hogwash is making statements like you catch AIDS from sweat or sharing showers.

Simple question that I genuinely would like an answer to, other than HIV what causes AIDS?

It's an adenovirus isolated from chimpanzee poop, which has been genetically changed.

Is that old fashioned?

Try as I might, I'm unable to grasp why the more discerning or, at the very least, knee-jerk resistive members of any society would accept an injection under conditions per current events. Even with zero knowledge or understanding of possible motivation - nefarious or otherwise - I would think many more would adopt a wait-and-see approach than what is apparently the case.

I've seen more reservation surrounding the roll-out of a new Mountain Dew variant than with this vaccine.

Nothing, actually. If it's capitalized as AIDS, then it's caused by HIV. Because it's a specific thing.

If it's not causes by HIV it has other names. The names are usually dependant on the causes.

It really depends on how you define "old fashioned".

It's not the oldest method which is to dose you up with a virus form the same family that's less harmful.

And it's not as old as the next oldest method, which is to dose you up with a killed version of the virus that they're trying to protect you from.

It's also not as old as the next oldest method, which is to genetically engineer or cross bred a version of the virus that they want to protect you from.

So, it's maybe the 4th oldest method of vaccination.

It's called the drink the kool-aid approach. I doubt any of these people who are in here copy pasting CNN snippets actually got it though.
