You very much weren't branded a homophobe at the time, quite the opposite. HIV was openly and publicly used to brand the gay community as being degenerate. If anything it made homophobia more acceptable and more mainstream.

Back during the 1980s homosexuality was deeply stigmatized in the US, even liberals frequently considered it to be some kind of mental aberration. It was commonly said to be caused by childhood sexual abuse, or even form having a domineering mother.

You couldn't teach about homosexuality in schools, in fact in a lot of states they could freely refuse to allow gay people to teach in schools as people were afraid that they'd molest the children.

HIV, which was discovered after AIDS, was used as a stick to beat them even more.

As I stated to another poster , if a doctor believes one may have AIDS , the doc will test at least once every 3 months.

Ive had an AIDS test in the past if that helps which was negative, but that because i changed sexual partners many moons ago.

In the context of this article, potentially the vaccines. It does not indicate that the vaccines will give someone HIV.

HIV is not near as transmissible as Covid so there is no comparison.

HIV is not an airborne virus. However, contact with HIV-infected bodily fluids is near 100% transmissible. In sports, isolation from bodily fluids is nearly inevitable... blood from minor injuries, sweat, shared showers, etc.

HIV was discovered in sweat and on shower surfaces used by infected people. Luckily, it doesn't last long on dry surfaces.

The bodily fluids are not the cause of HIV. They can be a carrier of HIV if they come from an infected person.

They purport to have evidence of AIDS from the vaccinations. Whether they do so or not is the subject. The problem discussing this subject is that some people don't even know what AIDS is.
