Light wells make sense, but all the buildings I've seen, there is literally no attempt at dealing with water run-off and drainage. Where is it supposed to go, the basement??? Thats a huge mold hazard. I imagine modern renovations of these buildings have solved the issue, but what was the solution when they were originally built? Why build a basement in the first place? It seems like you're just creating a problem from the get-go.

I look at it this way.

In the old days prior to electric light, many basements were built with windows below ground level to let in some light. They were light wells.

Now then, consider the local authority who want to resurface the road and footpath. Every time this is done the road surface becomes slightly higher, say 100mm / 4 inches. But this happens every 10 to 20 years.

I have seen this happen many times in a city.

After 150 years of this going on, the road and footpath level are now much higher than they were originally.

With electric light, the need for these windows is less and less important and eventually, they are covered over and become part of the footpath.

This accounts for much of what we see.

All of the buildings I examined had drainage pits connected to storm water drains. The only problem occurred if the drains (50mm/2 inches) were blocked.

Builders have known about drainage for thousands of years. It is not hard to do.

I concur.
I pointed this out about his hands a few pages back.
Over the years I have had clients lose loads of weight, just like this and the few things that don't and can't change visibly are ears, hands and feet.

I can expand on that a little by pointing out the Ghost of Abe Lincoln only started showing up at the White House after FDR had the place gutted and rebuilt. The US Presidents that had made statements about this Ghost all are suspects in being part of this Derp State. LBJ, Reagan, Bush sr, Both Hillary and Bill Clinton had stated that they've seen it, and Dick Cheney said that during Bush jr's time in the White House he had seen "Good Old Abe" trying to talk to Bush jr though he said George had nothing to do with it.

Could this "Ghost of Abe Lincoln" really be a Shadow Person that resides at the White House? I remember a story told by Nixon about he was told about an "Alien" that worked at the White House, but he never dealt with it, nor did he think that it was an alien. When Nixon was VP to Ike he had heard a lot of talk about this creature, and it was one of the reasons why he wanted to expose this thing and the "others".

I wonder if other locations around the world that house heads of government have similar "Ghost Stories" having the so-called "Spirit" giving guidance to the ruling party leaders? Might be something to look into at some time in the future.
