Sounds like the Army and Marines are going to play a more active role in long range targets and perhaps anti-ship warfare from land.

Modern version of coast artillery. The land components have been into deep strike capability since the 1980s "AirLand Battle" doctrine. I wonder, though, how relevant all this will be in a modern war. I suspect drones and robots may prove to be "agents of change" in the way tanks and paratroopers were.

The range of official response to UFOs / alien contact / paranormal in general is chaotic and riven by competing agendas. What you point out about 'bad aliens' is an example of science trying to make itself look 'with it' to the public by speaking about sci-fi characters. It seems, on this topic, the government has two approaches. Sinister or childish.

Somehow, I doubt 'contact' (in an overwhelmingly public sense) will happen in the manner depicted by the Hollywood crowd who churns out rerun after rerun of the same tired plots.

Some of us are betting our lives on this Jab Miss Jane! Including my parents. We have to keep our faculties while we figure this out but I am 99% convinced this brain condition is 100% caused by the jab.

My apologies if I came over sounding judgemental, it was not meant to be.
Everyone has to make their own minds up about what is right for them and I respect that.
For myself, I have the antibodies thank goodness. As to variants, I'm happy to catch them too and give my immune system some exercise.
What I will say is two thirds of my clients have had the jab and ALL of them have side effects. The other third have not had the jab and are fine. I can only speak as I find.
