-- but my initial reaction to Fann's email was that she was pandering... trying not to piss anyone off or turn against her. Of course Team Trump/Guiliani was reaching out to her, and plenty of other folks, including her constituents. And she was telling everyone what she thought they wanted to hear. That kinda struck me as odd and out of character, because Fann has quite a reputation as someone not to mess with. Someone that makes a much better friend than enemy.

My takeaway at this point is that Fann is doing what's good for Fann. But don't all politicians??? For now, I'm just glad that what she's doing for herself is also good for the people. I can and will support and even applaud that!!! When/if the facts change, then my opinion might/will change.

I expect that the Senate will lose the fight on audit documents, and rightly so. This is all about transparency and sunshine -- start to finish. Hopefully when I see the bigger picture I'll have a better opinion. As long as she's keeping secrets about the people's business, I can't trust her any farther than I can throw her.

Laugh at this analogy if you will, but it's not that much different than marriage or any union. Don't give your partner any reason not to trust you, and they won't have any reason not to trust you. And it's especially true with government and the people, because we can't divorce government.

"Everyone" is a mighty big word... and too big in this situation. There are all kinds of people who think all kinds of things for all kinds of reasons. But not all are unreasonable or unrealistic.

For those who are not Trump or Biden supporters, it's easy to take the persons out of the equation... if not a pleasure to do so! But for Trump supporters, this is personal because if the election was stolen, then so was their vote. So it's reasonable and expected that they would take this personally, as well as be able to see the fundamental threat to election integrity in general. It doesn't have to be either/or, it can be both/and.

Having said that, I also know that there are those Trumpsters -- especially Qsters -- who take this to ridiculous levels in support of Trump... 5D Master of the Universe!!!
