Finally! Forensic Election Audit in Maricopa County (AZ) Begins Next Week

Greetings, The Legislature's investigative authority does not end at Adjourn, Sine Die. Case in point, on December 14, 2020. The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing concerning Election Integrity (the Legislature was not in session). Resulting in a Subpoena being issued and served on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. That significant action started the Senate Audit of the Maricopa County Election Department 2020 Election.

When the full forensic audit is completed, the findings and results will be presented to the Senate Judiciary Committee (whether we are in Legislative session or not). At that time, the Senate will proceed to determine which actions need to be addressed.

Keep in mind, from the beginning that the audit has been under constant attack, by the vast leftwing media and the democrat party, to discredit the audit and process.

We are anticipating a barrage of continued litigation to block the Senate from obtaining essential data and documents that will hinder the results of the audit.

More to the point of Sine Die. ALL the Legislation such as: 2nd Amendment protections, Election Integrity, Education, Economic Development Bills etc. that has been passed and signed into law DOES NOT become effective until 90 after the Legislature Officially adjourn, Sine Die.

Rest assured, the Arizona Senate will take all necessary steps to ensure elections in Arizona are protected, to include the 2020 and 2022.

I believe what Borrelli is telling us is that they may very well adjourn Sine Die, in order to allow previously passed legislation to take effect, and of course the still-to-be-passed budget. Refusing to adjourn because of the audit would cause/create other serious issues. And that would be another big fight, which may not reflect well on the audit itself.

But if the Senate does adjourn, Sine Die, they have other means and procedures for carrying on with the business of the audit, both until its conclusion and final report is issued and after.

I will also add (and I'm speaking for myself, not Borrelli or anyone else) that no legislation can be written until AFTER the final report is issued and the Senate knows exactly what they need to correct, improve, eliminate or add. It's not like the final report will come out and the Senate will have a bill all ready to go the next day. They're probably already started, but they need more -- they need specifics -- and it's going to take time.

Because wanting the truth about elections will not disenfrancise people for future elections. Just because Democrats keep saying it will does not make it so.

No, that Trump and the Senate President were in contact since November. I know it makes people sad but this wasn't about anything other than trying to get someone pacified but that's the sad and pathetic reality.

Worst colluders ever, nothing will change the last election, but it could make or break the next election that trump has nothing to do with.

Trump requested an audit in many states.

Everyone already knew that.

Because he frequently did so publicly.

He did so long before Arizona Senate decided to authorize audit.

All states apparently ignored his request.

Some states later considered auditing their ballots because THEY think there might be a problem with their ballots.

Including Arizona, for peculiarities in Maricopa county.

And many people think that is a very good idea.

Because we also thought it was a good idea after 2016.

Democrats also blocked audits of that election.
