The jury is still out on how infectious you actually are if "asymptomatic" or even if there actually are that many asymptomatic people at all.
Not really.

Got yelled at for work having my mask down walking across the flight line with nobody within a 100 yards of me, another time was walking across an empty hanger.
To stick to the letter of the rules when people close in I put one on because I have to, if I am outside and nobody is near its not on and I wont put it on.
The idiotic mandate for wearing a mask in national parks is absurd everywhere outside of the check in station.

No.
But apparently social distancing and masks help prevent the spread of influenza quite well, which makes sense. Also the rate of vaccination for flu was up last year, that might play a role too.

I follow the local health orders here, masks in stores and all that. I don't bitch about it, not the end of the world. I wear n95 at work, the few days a month I work. I am burnt out though, the isolation is far worse than a mask.
I hear you. I'm an introvert so being at home so much isn't as bad, but the mask thing is starting get to me I think.
Like I mentioned up thread ... my memories of practice this are week are all of unmasked people even though I know we were all masked, and the creepy thing is that I've never seen some of them without masks. So how is my brain filling in that hole and why?
It's making me feel a little creeped out today that my brain refuses to remember anyone masked.

Masks do next to nothing. The new cases are largely flase positives and flu cases have been attributed to Covid deaths. And now Hank Aaron gets the vaccine and dies two weeks later. Wake up, we're being scammed. Usurper Joe didn't win the election he stole it.

The mask issue is a strait up lie. Put your mask on can you smell anything through it? If you can your mask won't block anything.
The only mask that would work would be a p.a.p.r. respirator. Everyone who is wearing a mask or a handkerchief is not protected from covid.
Can you smell cigarette smoke through your mask?
The virus is 50 times smaller than a smoke particle think about that.
The masks are for the weak minded the o ly thing these masks actually do is make some people feel better they aren't protecting you from anything.

Just try not to breathe on someone as you may be asymptomatic.
Those of you who are afraid of getting breathed on: why don’t you just wear two masks? Hell- wear three! If they work so well, you know? Wear two or three of those suckers and you’ll be fine.

We once had a word for that. It was "healthy."
