a reply to: Vasa CroeNot too far off. The weight is 122.5 +/- lbs. per side, assuming a 12' x 2' x 1/8" piece.

That's about what I figured. I came up with about 400 lbs roughly total, for sides, top, and any angle brackets, rivets etc involved.

The things worth taking for the metal lol.
I'd like to have that in the shop

What's a "Linga"??

Probably means a Lingum.

You know one of those stone pillars found in India and also many other formerly Hindu nation's and usually associated with Shiva or some other higher ancient Hindu pantheon God that Shiva was supposed to be an incarnation of, it is supposedly his penis or a phallic symbol and there is a mountain that is regarded as Shiva's phallus as well which they will not allow woman to climb but men can go up to make offerings - personally if I was Shiva I would have run a mile after that I mean guy's pouring oil on my member but woman not being allowed near to it.

Though I know you are probably only PULLING his leg there haha.

Wikipedia: A lingam, sometimes referred to as linga or Shiva linga, is an abstract or aniconic representation of the Hindu deity Shiva...

It´s funny that you´re trying to lecture me how to spell something when you spelt it wrong yourself ("Lingum"...) and I spelt it correctly.

Having seen the close ups on that video, I am wondering what is in it. It has been constructed in a way that is easily opened with simple tools. Drill off the rivet heads and pull off one side.

It is strange that it is made of such thick stainless steel.

It may be just a tourist trap. It certainly has a lot of people interested in it.

What would be the first thing be if another one was found?
that it is fake like this one. you can see the rivets!

This is misinformation and programing of the people!
the same as they did with UFO's
99% of people will belive what they see is Not a UFO.
they will belive some thing else.
a ballon filled with swomp gas!

they dont wont us to dream and have hope.
yet they Still let us belive in God?
people who belive in god are easier to control.

So what are they going to do about this obelisk?

Just leave it out there. Send in some scientists, or tear it down?

It might end up like the Georgia Guidestones

Hey man I am not trying to step on your - erm.

Sorry if you can't see the funny side then that is your problem I meant no offense, of course if you are a Hindu then I could begin to see how you may be offended.
Anyway.
Linga, Lingum and Lingam are all alternative names and spelling's in the Latin Alphabet, Phalic sculpture would be more accurate but what if it was actually meant to be something completely different?, it is not a LATIN Alphabet item though now is it, indeed it is not even a Sanskrit alphabet item since it predates Written Sanskrit as a tradition in India (IF claims as to the young age of written Sanskrit are accurate that is as the - written - language may actually be much older or based on an even older script).
So if you are serious about getting into an argument when I meant no offence then sorry but go take a flying leap my friend I was only interjecting with the best of intentions and you have very seriously taken the knock which was not my intent at all.

And by the way GOOGLE?, Seriously you know it's full of ^&*S don't you.

Hey I am British and we could get into a whole debate about the correct spelling of Even ENGLISH word's, Colour, Color etc.

Anyway I won't try to help in future (Well I probably will it's my nature but graaaaa hahaha)

Reminds me of a scene from Star Trek 60’s with William Shatner.

Back then they didn’t mess around with movie props, they are the real deal.

An Instagram user named "heavydsparks" has been out yo it and has a few good videos. Unless aliens use rivets... humans did it.
I'd post a couple screen shots, but I have no idea how. www.instagram.com...

Daaaa...Daaaa...daaaah... DAH DAH! sorry couldn't help myself.

it it is certainly real it surely was made by humans, whenever it was created that's yet to be determined, but i'm sure that some folk will automatically screm 'aliens!!!'

Crop circles, the seven wonders of the world, the georgia stones, stonehenge-all human constructs. The questions are, what is it and why? was it an ancient monolith? was it an art project like the crop circles? or was it an elaborate hoax? your guess is as good as mine.

A fake, whatever it is. Real things don't have rivets.
