When you say the only collateral California can use with China is underground assets, isn't there the rare earth mineral mine located in San Bernardino?
Currently there is only one in the U.S. and China provides the lions share for the world. Imagine if they get their hands on that mine as collateral.
President Trump made an executive order about boosting production and making the U.S. independent.

I am not anti-Trump, so please don't think that, but we are at a dangerous crossroads here. At the end of the Roman Republic and rise of the Roman Empire, Julius Caesar felt that he had to destroy a thing to save it, and he crossed the Rubicon with his troops.

It effectively broke the Roman Republic for good. Now Caesar did what he did with the best of intentions. The Senate had become irredeemably corrupt and Caesar felt he was doing what he was doing in order to save and restore the Republic, but in the end, it led to a period of warring strongmen that collapsed into the reign of Caesar Augustus, the first Roman Emperor.

It’s scary. But the alternative is terrifying.

If Biden wins it’s pretty dim outlook for the immediate future;

- mail in cheating will continue (start w/Runoffs)
- computer vote counts will be cheated
- GOP has no stronger candidate than a Trump
- Dems will replace Breyer & Thomas flipping it to 5-4 Progressive.
