This story made me wonder if it isn't coded communications:

A Russian soldier is on the run after he hacked an officer to death with an axe then shot and killed two more soldiers at a base near the southern city of Voronezh, investigators say.

The military is searching for the fugitive - named as Private Anton Makarov - at the Baltimor airbase

A couple of things leaped out.

Guy's name is Makarov and he stole a military-issue pistol? Conveniently, the service pistol of the Russian forces is the Makarov (Пистоле́т Мака́рова).

Baltimor air base? That one made me laugh, but, yeah, "Baltimor" is one of the names for an air base southwest of Voronezh.

Can it be read another way?

"Tony (Anton) got his pistol in Baltimore and his mission is to kill someone in his chain of command."

Something happened to hammer/scorecard the night of the 2016 elections. What exactly idk. But the trump team had no politic power back then. The stories about it are out there but only breadcrumbs were released
