Perry Mason used a tape recorder. I’m pretty sure every Govt Issued smart phone has a voice recorder. We already know they can text with them. Ridin’ Dirty Pete Strzok & Concubine Lisa Page proved that.

I've heard that FBI policy forbids interviews from being recorded. Notes only.

Probably the same reasoning that leads to cops getting hostile when people start recording them: They're used to their word being taken as gospel, and they don't really want an impartial record of the encounter.

Not the greatest way to show a statistic - deaths will always increase over time; testing, however, may eventually slow or stop, just like they don't routinely test for flu anymore. That means your numerator will keep increasing while the denominator will no longer reflect the massive testing scheme underway right now.

As a snapshot of the last seven months, though, it's a great indicator.

Eventually it will be like the flu: You get symptoms, you get the medicine. No need for a test.

Conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the ruling, joining the court’s four liberals in the majority.

In a joint statement, the state, the Creek Nation and the other four of what is known as the “Five Tribes” of Oklahoma said they were making “substantial progress” toward an agreement on shared jurisdiction that they would present to the federal government. The other tribes are the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw and Seminole.

Title companies in OK are going to have fun figuring this out. Wonder if this will eventually change property taxes.
