I truly appreciate that your link provides proof the WHO was complicit in propagating the lie of human to human transmission... on January 14th. So for those saying that 7 weeks ago we should have welded people in their apartments, how would you have justified it then? There would have been massive riots and the overthrow of every major democratic government on earth.
We started (in the U.S.) procedures and various protective actions in January. Seeing as China at best hid 70-80% of their cases (asymptomatic)and their testing was known to be 70% flawed, they most likely had 100k+ in January... and failed to tell anyone. (Johns Hopkins tracker had less than 10k on feb 1st)
Would we have welded people in apartments? No. But we would have isolated China from the world and rang the emergency bells much sooner, assuming the media was honest at that point as well.

In An emergency, a strict lock down means that there are consequences for violating the lockdown.

In China, that consequence is them welding your apartment building shut. There are not 1, or even a dozen videos online of that... there are hundreds. I would prefer my .03% chance of dying over my country resorting to those measures. Measures that wouldn’t have been necessary if CHINA HADN’T LIED.

Trump was not even taking the virus seriously! Even when people started to get it he was sending out his tweets about how the virus was not a danger, then he completly back tracked a week or so after, just like our leader!

You say they did not have enough time? So why were the public screaming to close the schools down, and bring in a lockdown way before it was actually done?

You say the West did not know much about the the virus, and the danger, yet we all did!

And people like you just cannot admit that your government, and our own government got it wrong, and are still getting it wrong!

Why do you keep ignoring my posts? Why do you keep doing that? It's getting really annoying now?

Your government is not doing any sort of lock down! Even we are, though it's not strict enough, we still have something in place to try and stop the infection spreading!

America now has the most infections, spreading at an alarming rate! And still, nothing! That's not China's fault, that's your governments fault!

Complicit, meaning they were guilty as an accomplice, and propagate, as in to spread or promote.

I never said that the WHO lied. I said China lied. The biggest lie in 40 years (Chernobyl). And The Who pushes that message, using all the goodwill that organization has built up as neutral experts.

Learn to read, man. And way to just dance around China- admit that their tactics could never happen in a free society. Admit that their lie made everything WORSE. By far.

Well that’s simply not true. In MD we are not allowed to gather, go to a majority of businesses, etc. we are only allowed to go to places considered essential.

Sure, my government sucks sometimes. But China straight up lied here, and it’s costing us thousands of lives.

Freedom? Say that to the families who have lost their loved ones so far in America! Say that to the millions of people in America that are at risk! Tell them about your freedom!

So I’m not picking a fight... but you should look up replacement rates and the actual birth rate around the world. We are not even giving birth world wide at a rate that replaces those who die. For example, Japan’s replacement rate is 2.3, and their birth rate is about 1.6 right now. They have a declining population rate, and the only reason they haven’t had a precipitous drop off is because of their extension of life in the older population. They are due in the next 15-20 years to have an economic collapse due to this. (Every country, region, race and demo have their own replacement rate- obvi because there are myriad factors that go into the rate)
Try this on; Australia has 1.9B acres of land. The world population is 7.8B, with 703M over 65, and 2.34B people under 18. Meaning, we could give an acre to every family in the world, and put every person in Australia. An acre is plenty for sustenance farming. Let’s not argue the usage of the land, etc.- I’m just making a point. We are not over crowded, we are just bad at using our resources effectively. Heck, a massive portion of our world’s resources are used to transport resources!
We aren’t overcrowded. We just suck.

Saying any country sucked at response AFTER the fact, does not forgive how horrible China’s lies were.

Try this on;
Your family and mine are neighbors. Your family has a communicable disease spreading in your house. You imprison your son, a doctor, when he warns the neighbors. You get the local health department to perpetuate your lie about the disease and it’s characteristics. You keep letting your kids come to my house, and vice versa. Then when you lose your grandmother to the disease, you finally admit that there is a problem, but you don’t share much of the info you have about the illness. But you still don’t even have information that we both agreed long was imperative to understand the illness and it’s effect on our families.
I start by telling our families to stay on their side of the fence. But I don’t know that due to the info you withheld, my kids are not only sick already, but they most likely got 25% of my family sick (already), and some of our neighbors.

So now because I haven’t welded our kids shut in their rooms, everyone will get sick. You now blame me not welding them in weeks ago, when you were still lying about being sick in the first place. Hell, you didn’t even close off your third floor, just a few bedrooms. And this is my fault? How about you just don’t lie to me, and also, don’t eat the sick possum you found in your driveway!

And as for our freedoms- yes, my freedom is worth more than.03% of the population. Would I follow guidelines because I care about people? Yes. Do I want a gun in my face telling me my freedom isn’t a thing the minute the road gets tougher? No. And I believe that honest communication is the order of the day.
Unlike China, where freedom isn’t a thing, we demand factual, COMPLETE information, and then we weigh the odds.

And don’t give me that schtick where I’m supposed to “tell that to people losing family members”.i support the right to drink and smoke, even though I don’t do either, and that kills millions annually. This thing has killed thousands, and even the worst projections put it at less than 1% of the worlds population, with the existing sick and very, very old making up the majority of the dead.

And so we are clear, I think that the information is most important- why? Because asking us to ride out a month at home I can do, you know, for my neighbors. But what if this thing goes on and in until there’s a vaccine- you expect us all to stay quarantined, or give up massive amounts of our freedoms, for 18-24 months? Or forever( hey, no one said we would definitely make a vaccine)?!?!

China made this mess. Period. The facts are in my side. And considering this may be a heavily mutating lab made virus, then I stand by my statement that China will have a war on its hands.

Again- no one has confirmed this will just go away one day- so how long will we give up our freedom?
