Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. has implemented a city-wide curfew that will begin Wednesday night. The curfew will be from midnight until 5 a.m. every night and will be assessed after two weeks.

Little Rock Police Chief Keith Humphrey said police will not stop people from driving, but anyone out walking.

Scott also encouraged restaurants in the city to transition to take out and delivery only.

Starting to see some disruption, prescriptions order line is closed due to having a deep clean for corona virus. You can’t ring the doctors either now, everything has to be triaged through their website.

Uk apparently testing very few now. Drive through testing centres are being scraped I hear after only a week of use. Guess if we don’t test anyone then our figures will look awesome. Government advice is to not go out at all unless urgent. No going to the pub, out for meals, to shows etc, but not yet mandatory and nothing much else has been officially closed.

Good job this is only the flu eh? Imagine the chaos if this were actually a big deal.......oh, hang on.........

Don't know if that is confirmed but the states of NJ, NY and Connecticut have already done it...


"The governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut have agreed to a joint set of social distancing measures to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.

All gatherings over 50 people will be banned in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. This comes a day after the CDC issued guidance to limit public gatherings to under 50 people.

All nonessential, non emergency travel for residents of the the three states will strongly be discouraged between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day, Cuomo said.

All bars and restaurants in New Jersey will also suspend eat-in services as of 8 p.m. Monday. After 8 p.m, they will be open for take out or delivery services only.

Essential businesses like supermarkets, gas stations, pharmacies, and medical offices will remain open, Murphy said.

Effective 8 p.m., casinos will close, along with nonessential businesses like movie theaters, gyms and racetracks. These businesses will stay closed until further notice, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. Online gaming will continue, Murphy said."

Our (Netherlands) Prime Minister just gave a speech.
Almost everybody will get this virus the coming year. Controlled spread for building group immunity is our strategie. I think this will soon be the strategy of all western countries.

Well if that is indeed the case, they're not helping themselves if it comes to shutting more things down as people will look at the figures and say why there's only X amount of cases.

Also deaths down to only 4 today, so I think we're going in the right direction.

Many provinces have closed schools. Quebec closing bars, gyms, etc.

It was 20 mate.

As if there wasn't enough stress in my life, my son just decide to dance with Bronchitis once again, so even though there isn't a lot in our area looks like the next 2 weeks me and the wife and the boy will stay isolated till he improves only going out if work requires it of me or he hits needs a doctor stage. (he was seen today for his 18 month checkup, they just said give him cough medicine.)

The number of new case are dropping here only because they refuse to test anyone that isn't admitted to hospital as a severe case. It's skewing the numbers.

Yesterday, today it was 4.

And also although I do think this virus may possibly have more side effects to it like infertility. I'm starting to think tansfaafl may be the voice of reason. Everyone should try not to get sucked into the mass hysteria, that's usually what separates us from the average population who don't question anything.
