Coming from a self appointed authority on the subject I feel vindicated...

However, I couldn't make it through this video. David Iyke has such an irritating speach pattern and flow when he talks that I just can't deal with it. This coukd easy have been a 20 minute video if he didn't take a 2 second pause between every word. And I'll tell you why he does this. He knows that he's talking to idiots.

I hadn't seen it so thanks for that. Ignore the self appointed moderator that's complaining about it. They don't get to decide what you post and where.

You are welcome and thank you.

If you read David Ickes books you can skip the pauses.... lol.

Three times as many coronavirus patients have died at a hospital in London as the NHS has reported in its official count. King's College Hospital Trust has handled at least 31 deaths, according to an internal memo, while the NHS's official figures list just 11 for the hospital. The difference raises the prospect of the UK's true coronavirus death count being considerably higher than the official 1,228 which was announced yesterday.

a reply to: generik the problem all along has been a lack of tests,

As important is the fact that test results months ago were erroneous. Now we discover tests are still not be relied on. Local newspaper matter of factly reported a couple days ago that even if one tests negative, one can have the virus.

'So whats a poor boy to do but to play in a rock n roll band' oops, sorry, that could allow community spread.
Stop playing, stop working, stop worshiping where is this fun in the sun going to end-in a less polluted world sin duda.

I didn't say that he/she wasn't allowed to post it. They absolutely are and all of us are absolutely allowed to disagree with it should we choose to do so.

Not really the same thing is it?

You're not very nice are you? Why don't you get back in your box and stop dragging everyone down to your level because you feel irritated.

Update: March 30 , Monday Tokyo time: evening with a cup off coffee in front of the keyboard

1. There were at least 723,740 reported cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, and 34,018 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University. ( I wonder if that includes China and other parts of Asia ) There's a reason why I say that is because, how are they labeling the deaths. (flu... virus...suicide..)
2. Doctors, nurses and other medical workers on‌ ‌the‌ ‌front lines‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌coronavirus‌ ‌epidemic‌ ‌in‌ ‌Italy‌ ‌and‌ ‌Spain are succumbing to the respiratory illness themselves, and this is happening world-wide these days
3. It was not well understood how infectious the virus can be even in those who don’t seem very sick. But researchers now know that those with mild symptoms who are told to stay at home usually risked passing the virus to family members, as well as to others outside their homes as some still moved around freely. This is the BIG ONE. What the heck do we do.
Got to test, then mandatory quarantine in a facility. NO OTHER choice. FEMA camps for Americans?
4. Got to be aware of this when answering the doors if you are a police officer these days: One officer was killed and two more were injured in a shooting in Phoenix on Sunday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
5. Lucky I bought 4 packs: All the Yeast Is Sold Out Right Now. Yep, make bread and pizza here.
6. People if you are old , smoke, drink heavy. Here, read this, and he only lasted less then 2 weeks after complaining of a fever. Ken Shimura Japanese Comedian Dies of Coronavirus Age 70 Now all the Japanese young are now taking this a bit more serious, but its too late, they all partied last Friday at restaurants and pubs and Karaoke. Its coming and its going to come real hard here. I've mentioned it before. I honestly can see up to 5000 new infections a day when they finally get around testing. Terrible I tell ya. The virus is a hidden enemy, yet, the politicians know it, but... hey we got to go about this SLOWLY.
4. 'Italy is closed' Wow!

5. More on this later tonight I think: Japan to expand entry ban to include U.S., China and most of Europe. I think they mean a 14 day quarantine?
6. Corporate Japan also appears to be in a crisis mode. Economic revitalization minister Yasutoshi Nishimura has said that the government plans to ask private companies to increase the production of ventilators to prepare for a possible escalation of the new coronavirus outbreak. Kind of slow if you ask me.

7. This is new to me: about 30000 people have been tested so far here in Japan
8. Not sure if this is current at the time of writing , but 56 deaths from the virus

This evenings update:

According to local governments and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, there were 1,937 people who were infected in Japan at 8:30 pm on the 30th, including those found in airport quarantine and those who returned home on charter aircraft. In addition, the cruise ship has a crew of 712 passengers, for a total of 2,649. A total of 68 people died , including 57 people infected in the country and 11 cruise ships.

By region, including the local governments that announced 1937 cases of infection in Japan,
443 in Tokyo, ( these numbers for such a city is like a baby taking it first crawl )
216 in Osaka
176 in Hokkaido (slowing down in Hokkaido now ) which is good (maybe it has to do with air travel )?
167 in Aichi,
Chiba 158 people ( yikes, getting higher every day )
133 people in the Hyogo prefecture
128 people in the Kanagawa prefecture (really folks, this doesn't look good at all )
85 people in the Saitama prefecture
51 people in the Kyoto prefecture
31 people in the Niigata prefecture
28 people in the Oita prefecture and Fukuoka prefecture,
22 people in Gifu prefecture,
18 people in Gunma prefecture and Wakayama prefecture,
16 people in Ibaraki prefecture
15 people in Fukui prefecture and Kochi prefecture
13 people in Kumamoto prefecture
12 people in Tochigi prefecture, 12 people in
Nara 11 people in the
prefecture, 9 people in Ishikawa, Mie and Okinawa ( Okinawa is seeing increases, doesn't look too good there )
8 people in Nagano
7 people in Aomori, 6 people in
Miyagi, Shiga, Hiroshima and Yamaguchi, 6
Shizuoka 5
4 Akita, Yamanashi and Ehime prefectures,
3 Okayama and Miyazaki prefectures
2 Fukushima and Nagasaki prefectures, 4
Tokushima, Kagawa, Saga and Kagoshima prefectures , Toyama Prefecture is one person.

In addition,
14 people returned home from China via charter aircraft,
41 people including employees of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, quarantine officers, and those who were confirmed to be infected by airport quarantine. (this seems to be a real problem )

Please don't open up the schools this or next week: Osaka Prefecture Elementary school students, 17 new cases confirmed, total of 208. Of this is one elementary student. If students are asymptomatic and go to school, the consequences are going to be devastating . The virus can spread to the whole family.

need to go to 7-11 now and buy me some more wine

Just watching the Icke video...
yeah he is annoyingly slow and too many long pauses. He also talks as if what he says is fact, when it is not.

A few things stand out - he compared the death figures here in the UK from jan til march - they are about the same compared with the same period last year. This is nothing too shocking as we don't have a huge number of cases yet. But we expect them to come which is why we are trying to stop the spread with the isolation measures. This seems lost on him.

Then he says (quoting a doctor - an infectious disease specialist - Dr Sukrat Bakti? I can't quite make out who this is!) the doctors are testing for 'coronaviruses' and 'of course they will come out positive as there are so many of them and many live in us and do us no harm'. Well this sounds like hocus - and again not true - we have tested so far 127,737 and 19,522 are positive. So what he says is wrong.
He says they are not testing for Covid-19 but testing just for coronaviruses in general and that the PCR test does not work.

Goes on to talk about Italy - if it correct that many more who have it are unknown (i.e. not tested) then the mortality rate would drop from 10% to 1%. Yeah that is true, no one is arguing that -but he presents it like that is suspicious??!

Says Imperial College have connections to Freemasons - laughs - then presents no evidence for this...
Earlier in the video he says about something else 'we will come to that later' - no evidence but makes you think that he will in a bit..then rambles on.

Around 48 minutes in, he says he has been sent evidence to himself at David Icke.com then touches his nose (a common lying tick) and says old people in hospital are pressured into signing DNR forms... show us the evidence.

I watched this because I used to listen to Icke many years ago. He can seem convincing - problem, reaction, solution - he has a point with some things. But he also exploits things going on for his own gain - web views, book sales and speaking tours. He knows no more than anyone else, but has this authoritative presence and people listen.
He is worried about the lockdown measures being permanent - he then says he is going to go out whenever he wants and do what he wants - he claims it's propaganda. It's pretty irresponsible - others will just listen to him and ignore advice.

From the Guardian Live Feed

- 1.20pm : Austria makes Face-Masks compulsory for Shoppers.

Shoppers are to be handed masks covering their mouth and nose at the entrance of supermarkets from Wednesday, the chancellor said. Kurz said the masks were not the same protective masks used by medical staff and weren’t designed to “protect” those wearing them but only to stop them spreading infections further.

While wearing the masks in supermarkets will be compulsory, people are encouraged to also wear them in other “social situations”.
(Bolded bit by me)

1.34pm : " Montaldo Torinese, a village in Italy’s northern Piedmont region, have so far been spared coronavirus, leading some to believe they are being protected by the “miracle water” "

The water from the well in Montaldo Torinese, a village of 720 inhabitants, is believed to have helped cure Napoleon’s troops, who had set up camp in the village in June 1800 before a battle in nearby Marengo.
Montaldo Torinese lies about 11 miles (19km) from Turin

(Cue lots of people flocking to the town and infecting residents...)

Yea, well there are some members here that have already had friends and family die.

Try passing off the "fake virus" theory to them.

Before it is over, all of us will know of someone who has died of this.

Ontario, Canada:

Data obtained by CBC shows the number of suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients in Ontario's ICUs is higher than what health officials have been sharing with the public.

www.cbc.ca...

Government response is that they will prioritize testing for people who are in hospital (in other words, they just haven’t got to their tests yet...)
